I wonder what Sanaki's first experience with Firebending was like...
But, there is no proof to the fact that Ty Lee can Firebend.
She's just too... ditzy!

She obviously cant since when Azula lit the net she sweated and got scared as where if she waz a fire bender, she wouldnt worry because she could just retract it.

ty lee has proven that she doesn't need to be a bender to be a threat... the fact alone that she can block the chi flow for a bender to bend is deadly in itself.....

no she can't firebend that's like so obviese that she can't firebend beccause out of all the avatar episodes i have seen she has never done any bending.

but remember the episode about the people living in the air temples? the airbenders have spirit and thats what makes them bend, so i think shes a airbender cause she has lots of spirit!

Why do sooo many people here want to see Ty Lee (or Mai or Sokka for that matter) becoming a bender???  She is so unique, interesting and capable in her own nonbending way! Making her a bender would just make her being one among so many main character benders. It would lessen her uniqueness and the specialty of those characters who can bend ... imo. |
