"Well we could ask the sages," suggests Eduante.
A nock comes from the door. Eduante goes to open it but it swings open.
A man with purple skin and white hair bursts in. His clothes are gold and a midalion hangs from his neck.
"The village! It's under attack! Come quick Eduante!" The man runs off and Eduante fallows.
"Come if your ready for a fight!" he yells back to you.

i put the tip on my glaive, and my dagger, wich i shove in my belt. i run out of the house carrying my glaive, ready to bend water out of my poutch

(if the vine monster is near me) i put my glaive in the sheath like thing on my back and send a sharp disk of ice at it from my poutch

No the monsters are not neer you they are begining to surrond your friends. Eduante dives into one and rips out the side felling the beast. You run up and stab another though now your spear is stuck in it, and a vine monster dives on tyler pinning him to the ground. Tyler's stuck.
