First off, I don't know if this can go here, but if anyone wants to RP with me about this, please feel free to join.
Avatar Aang had recently died, the great war of the Fire Lords have ceased, and the Air Nomads had finally came out of hiding. The world has formed a Union and now has their attention to the Water tribes for the birth of the new Avatar.
Unfortunately it only been several months since the death of Avatar Aang and there is already been a threat of war. An extremely wealthy nobleman, Lu Ugai, is making demands to start a Utopian society. His mother was one of the richest aristocrats in the Fire Nation while his father was the son of one the wealthiest noble families in the Earth Kingdom. Lu Ugai grew up wanting to be a sociologist. Through his intense studying and frequent traveling, he has belief that he only has the enlightenment to lead the world to a thriving Utopia. His first step into power was simply his inheritance. And it was with his money he built a personal army and trained them techniques adapted by the historical Dai Li, in order to carry out massive brainwashing throughout the majority of the Fire Nation and is making a foot hold into the Earth Kingdom. As Lu Ugai’s conquest continues, primarily focusing on the water tribes, it would a be a great achievement for Lu Ugai if he manages to get a hold of the new Avatar. As Lu Ugai’s army ravages through the world, most towns and villages are left in confusion for many are not even sure what is going on - some villages in the Earth Kingdom think the entire fire nation is leading another war while the Air temples are being attacked by the Earth Benders of Lu Ugai’s army.

Nation?: (Citizen of any particular nation? If yes then is of the, Fire Nation,
Earth Kingdom, Air Nomad society, or one of the three Water Tribes; Northern, Southern, Foggy Swamp? Then indicate if you side with the Union[good guys] or Lu Ugai‘s Ferderation[bad guys] Also if you’re a bender, you don‘t have to be part of the Nation matching your element, unless your occupation is part of government. Ex: A Water bender cannot have a high political stance in the Earth Kingdom)
History: The character has to at least have some history living in their nation. If the character is not a permanent citizen of a nation then what’s the history behind that reason? (A Frequent traveler, a rebel, outlaw, etc. What lifestyle or events lead to their personality, etc.)
Other: (Anything else needed to add? What’s the character’s occupation? Does the character normally carry a weapon?…or travel with a pet?…What is the character’s current setting or what is he/she doing at the moment, etc.)

Rules:
1. Try to make the characters a bit realistic (personality and skill wise). Though this takes place in a fantasy world, the characters in this world are just as human as people in the real world (with the exception of the bending arts). So if your character is timid and modest and selfless, I’m going to scratch my head when character is suddenly kicking everyone’s behind with a cool and conceited attitude as if nothing can surprise him/her. (Be consistent with personality). And if your character is an orphan who had just witnessed the brutal murder of his or her entire family as an innocent child, I’d be very interested in knowing his/her history of why the character has social, fluffy and happy-go-lucky personality as if the event hadn’t fazed him/her one bit. Your character could have become the best of the best at his/her occupation without having some former teaching/training by a instructor for some decent amount of time).

History: During a Fire Nation raid while he was a child he lost his home, his friends, and his family. In his rage he took on the Fire Benders, he nearly died trying to run. The Battle screwed up his eyes, a injury only time could heal, and he used his time wisely. Without the use of his eyes he relied on Earthbending to see as he heard of someone had done before him. Thanks to his new ability to listen to the earth instead of using it just as a weapon he went to seek vengence on the Fire Benders. After he finished with the platoon he began his training again, to become a stronger and wiser Earthbender.
Other: He is not blind, just doesn't use his eyes until he knows their better.
