as for Katara's birthday, she was born in the winter time in the Northern Water Tribe. (the part about Katara's family's initial residence being the NWT never changed)

if I had to tack an exact date on it, it'd be January 16th.

my older characters (Sanaki/Mikaya, Kai, Zuki, Tera) have all had their day of birth revealed... and now Katara as well.

Katara's is January 16th, Zuki's is February 14th, Sanaki and Mikaya's is March 25th, Kai's is April 6th, and Tera's is May 9th.

each of those days actually holds a certain meaning to me, (yes, even February 14th, and not because it's Valentine's day)

that's also why I don't mention them in the actual story either...

and it's also why I've only tacked them onto characters with out-of-story connections... [AKA ones that talk with you and such]

for example, Sanaki and Kai were born in the springtime, Cheng and Taki in the summertime, and Katara in the wintertime.
