Oh yeah! another fun chapter! The rematch between Toph and Sanaki! Oh, and I fixed any errors in the stories. In Avatar Fight Club, always expect the unexpected! BTW, I'm still taking suggestions for rematches... anyways, the fight!
ROUND 14: TOPH VS. SANAKI I strode back onto the battlefield with a calm surety. I had just whipped Sanaki once, and if she wanted a rematch, I could whip her again. Of course, it had actually been me who had wanted the rematch, but I didn’t bother with that. As I had predicted, there was fire in two corners, and earth for me in the other two. I was the one waiting this time. I listened for the announcer to call out what I assumed would be Sanaki’s name—and I assumed correctly. “And, joining us already for a rematch, as requested by Toph Bei Fong; is Sanaki Li Chan!” 253 shouted, and the crowds roared like they did during our last battle. Sanaki shot out onto the field in a dazzling display of firebending. Of course, while we were waiting for 253 to call the beginning of the match, we both began putting on incredible displays of bending.
After I noticed what Toph was doing, I quickly began showing off like she was, putting up miraculous firebending displays to complement her earth ones. Outside of the Fight Club, Toph was one of my best friends, though I was generally friends with some of the others as well, but none as much as Toph, since we both had a lot in common. “Wow,” said 253, “for a pair of little blind girls, they are sure great benders! On one side is an earthbending master, and on the other is a firebending master, although Sanaki has not displayed the ability to bend lightning. Perhaps it is a secret ability which she does not wish to use at the current time—perhaps not. The fight though, may commence!”
I was already in position, bringing up rock walls with my hands and sending out fault lines with my feet. Sanaki was doing the opposite: she was bringing up walls of fire with her feet, which melted my rocks into lava, and she was shooting fireballs with her hands. Sure the fault lines of mine were low and on the ground, but I had sent rocks out with them, but Sanaki had dodged them. I was able to knock Sanaki off balance after sending a rock at her with a curve. It hit her in the side of her left arm, knocking her to my left. In an instant though, she was back on her feet, throwing fireballs at me again. She was faster than I was, so I had to be on the run. She was standing in one place, punching the air with her fists, but this was sending bolts of fire at me. Although it was fast, I knew that she could do it even faster. Was she going easy on me?
I decided this time to save what little strength I had on a regular basis until I needed it. I was glad that I was a firebender; otherwise I could not fight, for my body was very weak. I was older than Toph, but she was taller than me. I suddenly conjured up two whips of flame, and began lashing Toph repeatedly with them. She was taking the hits strongly, and she was enduring them, but I could sense her weakening.
Not wanting to die so fast, I suddenly pulled out a pair of rock whips from the ground, which, when swung, shot off little tiny rocks from the main object, wince Rock, unlike fire, crumbles if you try to fling it around like that. Suddenly, our ‘weapons’ collided, and we got some rather unusual results. In front of us now was a pool of lava. Sanaki’s fire had melted my rock, and now I wondered: “Who was in control?” I was worried for a second, because I figured that since Lava is mostly fire, that Sanaki would be able to control it. Sure enough, within seconds, I could feel an incoming lava wave. Of course, I was not one to just stand there and take it; I hoped to bend something into the way. However, I was slightly surprised when I learned that I could bend it. It made sense after all, since magma was just melted earth.
I could tell that Toph was just as surprised as I was that she could bend magma. We then began throwing it back and forth at each other, neither of us able to land a hit onto the other. Suddenly, we both had the same general idea: we split the elements up again, so the lava became earth again on one side, and fire on the other. I regained my fire, and Toph took her earth back. I was suddenly knocked to my senses when a huge jut of rock hit me again. This time though, I didn’t fall down; I landed on my hands and launched a blaze of fire from my feet. I began back flipping across the stage, launching attacks with my feet, finishing with a judo chop-style move that sent out a huge, vertical narrow wave of flame right at Toph, right as she sent a huge, sharp rock towards me.
I had felt it coming, but my own attack had gotten into the way. It penetrated my rock, but the flames were longer than I thought. I had launched myself into harm’s way with my attack in a do-or-die style situation, and now I was about to pay for it. This was not Sanaki’s finishing move, but I knew that it would do some damage. The sheer force and volume of heat was miraculous. I was knocked from my feet and sent spiraling several feet away, badly wounded. However, real skilled fighters don’t go down without leaving a mark first. I summoned my rock whip and bound Sanaki. This was where the fun began.
I knew that trying to break out of this bind would be difficult, so I had to flare up my feet, since my hands were stuck by my sides. I knew there was no way for me to break it with my hands. What I had to do was kill the perpetrator. In the meantime though, she was slamming me against the ground and the walls, and this was painful, especially to the head. However, I could pinpoint where Toph was because of what she was doing. My feet were on fire by now, and had enough energy to launch my attack. I crossed my legs as best I could and shot out my killer: the fiery ‘X’, which would literally cross a person’s life out.
I had been too busy slamming Sanaki everywhere to notice that I had been hit until after the fact. I crumpled, and within seconds of coming in contact with the searing blaze, my life had ended. However, I had no regrets of facing Sanaki again, and this was not going to be the last time we fought, for I knew that just like I was, she would be in for another match as soon as possible. For now though, I was going to take a break from fighting, especially since I had just died.
After I was declared the winner, I watched as my waterbender friend took Toph’s body away. They were coming for me next, but I wanted a little time to myself, like Toph had. What I did during my alone time is not to tell, but it did have something to do with the future of the fight club...
SO that leaves Ty Lee as the only one with a perfect record. I wonder how long she'll hold it? Find out next time she appears! Ty Lee: 3-0 Toph: 3-1 Sanaki: 3-1 Mai: 1-0 Dre Yu: 1-0 Katara: 2-2 Sokka: 1-1 Iroh: 0-0 Azula: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Aang: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2 Ozai: 0-2 Zhao: 0-2
So, whadya think? ~Katara~

Well, this time I announced who was in Round 16 before even revealing Round 15. (Round 16 is Dre Yu vs. Iroh). Despite it taking me a long time to write, this one was fun. (no, not all of them were really fun; I'll explain later) You WILL NOT know who is going to win until 253 announces it. Seriously, it takes that long. no one gains a definitive lead in this fight--or so it seems...
ROUND 15: TY LEE VS. SOKKA I walked back out onto the battlefield. Again, the battlefield was plain, which meant I was fighting another non-bender. I suddenly put 2 and 2 together and realized that I might know who it was. I was going up against Ty Lee, the currently undefeated champion of the Avatar Fight Club. Oh well, I figured that now it was time to shatter her streak. I thought Toph and Sanaki had both been undefeatable, and that the last two matches were going to end in a draw. Oh well, such were the ways of the Avatar Fight Club, and I was not going to back down. Anyone who did that would get kicked out of the Fight Club forever. “And now,” said 253, just as I predicted, “Sokka here will be facing against our current champion, who, so far has gone undefeated. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Ty Lee!”
The crowds roared nearly as loud as they had the last 2 rounds when those two blind girls fought. I cart wheeled out onto the battlefield, looking over at Sokka. He was giving me his blunt-faced look, his lower lip sticking out, his arms crossed, and his boomerang out. This was going to be a fun fight. “And the battle can commence!” 253 shouted, and this was his cue, as well as my own. He threw his boomerang at me, and as it whizzed by my left ear, I knew it was sharp. The force of the wind was so sharp even, that it sliced my ear open.
I saw her back flip away from me, and knew that although my boomerang had missed, it had not been a total failure. On the contrary, I had launched the first blow. I saw that she was incredibly aggressive now. It was almost unnatural. She was nearly as fast as Sanaki at launching attacks, but I was skilled at dodging them, having had experience for quite a while. I had a brilliant idea which I decided to exploit now, since I saw Ty Lee come at me upside-down, similar to what Sanaki did. However, she had the metal spikes on her bare feet as well. I saw her trying to hit my pressure points, but luckily I was able to dodge the attacks for a while.
He was good, but not very good at attacking—or so I thought. I suddenly decided to correct myself after I attempted to launch an attack at his neck that did not turn out right. He swung his club at me, and it struck my foot in just the right manner that I was the one disabled. I hobbled back, limping very heavily. I was nowhere near deterred though. I came launching myself at him, and he was too slow. Within the next 3 seconds, I had disabled both of his legs and had him on his knees. I figured he would fall, so I actually figured I’d finish him here and now. This was a mistake.
I may have been down, but I sure as heck was not out. My first instinct was the same first instinct I had had ever since I got my first weapon—a boomerang. My first instinct was very similar. It consisted of 3 words: Throw your boomerang; so I did. However, I was let down after I saw it simply circle Ty Lee and come back. I was sort of bummed, but hey, at least it was ever-faithful and always came back. You would have thought that she’d go straight for my arms, but she didn’t. Maybe it was because she was having more trouble with her foot than she had thought. My good old club had served me well. I knew that if I died, I could die peacefully, knowing my faithful weapons had severed me well. However, I had no plans of dying, so I wondered to myself “Why the heck am I even thinking about this?” However, I was cut short. Ty Lee had launched a quick jab to my forehead. I knew that this was her finishing blow—or did I?” “Ladies and gentlemen,” said 253, “Ty Lee has just demonstrated that a less powerful killing move might actually be effective, for that was obviously not her full one.” If this was dying, then how come when I was beaten by Mai it felt so much different?
I watched him dying, slowly falling to the ground. It seemed though, that he was actually lifting his arm into the air, his boomerang in it. What was he doing? Did he not realize that he was not even worthy for my full killing move, but only for a mere part of it? I, however, learned that I had made a huge mistake. Sokka had raised his boomerang because he was not dead. In fact, his life force seemed to be increasing.
I was shocked; I guess the weak moves were not killers. I had survived the blow, but my eyesight was a little poorer. I wonder how Toph and Sanaki felt, being blind all the time. I would have pondered that thought, but I had more important things on my mind, especially since I was in the middle of a battle arena. I had lifted my arm in the air, once again, by instinct, and threw my boomerang. The next results were quite disturbing, yet pleasing to an extent: I had impaled Ty Lee right in the chest with my boomerang. However, I had stupidly done one of the weaker kills, for my mind had not quite yet told me that they really were not killing moves.
I was taken aback that I had been hit, and it had been so close to killing me. However, I knew better than to pull it out, otherwise, it’d be easier for him to grab. My blood was dripping onto the arena as I limped towards Sokka, still retaining a little of my original enthusiasm. I did a couple of weak jumps (for I was still in pretty high spirits) towards him, and this time found my mark on Sokka’s forehead, this one a full-blown killing move. I had won again.
I knew I had lost, but I didn’t want to dwell upon that fact. The fact that I had nearly defeated the champion of the Avatar Fight Club was an impressive feat in and of itself. As my life faded, I noticed that she had the courtesy to throw me back my boomerang, and as I fell forwards, my hand instinctively reached out for it. I never knew if I had actually grabbed it or not, for I was gone; out; dead.
After removing Sokka’s boomerang from my gut, I began bleeding faster. I sunk to my knees, still smiling because of my victory and my happy go-lucky attitude, and I smiled brightly at the crowds who cheered my name as 253 announced me the winner. Sokka was a good fighter, and had impressed me because of how close he had come to defeating me. I saw that little blind firebender Sanaki come and pick up Sokka, and I didn’t even care when they came for me. I didn’t need to be thingyy about my wins. It was okay for me to be happy about them (because I was going to be, no matter what), but I didn’t need to rub it in, and I didn’t. I just resigned to the Avatar Fight Club staff to take me away. After winning for the 4th time, this was no new experience. Besides, there was always next time...
Ty Lee is unstoppable! When will she lose!?! Oh, and the next battle is Dre Yu vs. Iroh. STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 4-0 Toph: 3-1 Sanaki: 3-1 Mai: 1-0 Dre Yu: 1-0 Katara: 2-2 Iroh: 0-0 Sokka: 1-2 Azula: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Aang: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2 Ozai: 0-2 Zhao: 0-2

Alright folks, here's chapter 16, just like I promised. Dre Yu makes a return, and Iroh finally appears!
ROUND 16: DRE YU VS. IROH I had returned after quite the down time. Of course, there was Mai, who hadn’t appeared since round 4, but that was beside the point. My massive frame stepped out onto the battlefield. All I could see though was fire. I did see Sanaki in the stands again. This time, she was sitting next to Toph, Katara and Zuko. I looked at the telltale corners of the arena to see what sort of bender I would be facing. They had lightning and fire on them. I was facing another firebender capable of wielding lightning. “And now,” said 253, “our next fighter may seem like a newcomer because of a lack of presence until this, the 16th round, but this man’s name has been on the roster since round 1. Ladies and Gents, please welcome Iroh, the Dragon of the West!” The crowds clapped and cheered as Iroh slowly ambled out onto the field. I had known it was him after 253 had said that his name had been on the roster since round 1. I was now about to face the man who had taught me firebending. I noticed that Toph and Sanaki were cheering especially hard, since they both had taken a liking for Iroh, maybe because of his tea, maybe not. They still had cheered me on, but most of the crowds did. Everyone, even Admiral Zhao, had gotten some cheering.
I looked at my opponent in the distance. He looked a little tense, which worried me. I wondered if I had taught him well or not. I was aware of the current standings for the fight club, and was also aware that, though I was powerful, I had an equally likely chance of being beaten by anyone—or so I thought. I was not the one to boast in anyone’s power, not even my own. If I had to kill my student in the fight club, then so be it. I was not the one to mercilessly kill someone, for my finishing move was simply a burst of highly charged lightning that electrocuted my enemies. It was over in an instant. Now I waited for 253’s sign.
“The fight may now commence,” 253 shouted, and that was our signal. I loaded and arrow, now forgetting any former friendships I had. It seemed to be a supernatural effect this place had on the fighters. No matter how good of friends they used to be, when they got here, it was all erased until the fight was over. I aimed and let my arrow fly towards the old man. However, like I had sort of suspected, he deflected it with a wave of his hand. I knew I would have trouble trying to get at him, for although he was slow to maneuver, he had fast attacks—almost as fast as Ty Lee and Sanaki—well, almost half as fast as Sanaki. Sanaki was by far the character with the fastest moves.
I calmly dodged some of his moves, not attacking him as much, but more defending. I was actually hoping to throw enough of his explosives and arrows off of him so we could have a firebending combat, but alas, my plan did not work at the moment. I was suddenly blasted off my feet. Dre Yu had shot an arrow at me, making me dodge. As I had been dodging, he had thrown one of his explosives. I recovered quickly, but it took me a while to get back up. I had been defending myself in the meantime though, which proved effective. It was a good thing I had gotten back in shape; otherwise I would have been a wreck. The tea probably helped me too. The small things in life are the ones that are best appreciated by me. Tea is one of them.
This battle was much more slow-paced than the one I had had against Zhao, and slower than ones I had watched. Of course, it was not without action, it was just that both of our moves were graceful and smooth. I began firebending in retaliation to Iroh’s, but my teacher was outmatching me. I quickly threw a wave of fire at him and then successfully hit him with an arrow. I new though, that I couldn’t try even that too often because even after being hit, Iroh was able to stay standing and use some of his faster moves on me. “The battle is heating up,” said 253, and I heard a lone member of the crowd cheer. I recognized the voice as Sanaki’s, for she loved heat and warmth. She was a stubborn one, but so was I when it came to physical movement. The reason for that was because of my massive frame. Iroh had blasted me several times, but I had withstood the blows, which had merely shaken me. I knew what he was doing, and I was hoping for a way to avoid it. However, I planned to try and bring him down as well.
I was landing more swift moves on Dre Yu, but he was actually fighting back with firebending skills that showed that he had signs of skill. Surprisingly, I had learned a very few of my swift moves from the young blind girl Sanaki. Even young children can teach the wisest of us. I launched a blazing wall of fire at my student, which he flipped over and dodged. “You have learned well,” I said, congratulating him despite the fact that he had just nearly hit me with another explosive, “however, I do believe that I am going to come off on top here, because there is still things for you to learn.”
“I understand that, master Iroh,” I replied, getting singed by one of his fireballs that I recognized as a swift Sanaki-style attack, “but There are some things which I learned elsewhere that have been of great use.” Iroh did not reply, and so I displayed some of my bow and explosive techniques, some of which proved effective. Iroh, however, suddenly developed a wide grin, and pointed his fingers at me. I suddenly knew what was coming at me, and so I got ready. A huge bolt of lightning burst from Iroh’s fingers, aimed at my chest. I caught it with my fingers, but it was pushing me back. The energy was too strong for me to absorb or redirect, and I knew that I was dead either way. I decided to take the shortcut and drop my attempt of redirecting it. I fell quickly and painlessly. Iroh had beaten me, but I had expected that. He was a good master, and a merciful man.
“And ladies and gents,” said 253, “that makes the game! Iroh makes his appearance after a long wait and takes the gold.” “Nonetheless,” I said, now beginning to feel the pains from Dre Yu’s attacks, “I will admit that Dre Yu’s performance was far from mediocre. He did well too.” I made sure Dre Yu got his proper credit as young Sanaki came with her waterbender friend whose name escapes me, to take him away. This Fight Club was quite the interesting experience. I actually enjoyed it, and was going to see if I could get back in on another match soon. In the meantime though, I let them take me away as well. I didn’t need the stage glory—not now at least.
And justafan, think on the bright side: he lost to one of (I presume) your favorite characters. STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 4-0 Toph: 3-1 Sanaki: 3-1 Mai: 1-0 Iroh: 1-0 Katara: 2-2 Dre Yu: 1-1 Sokka: 1-2 Azula: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Aang: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2 Ozai: 0-2 Zhao: 0-2
So, whadya think? ~Katara~

Alrighty... I had this chapter done about half an hour ago, but then I got distracted, and my internet crashed, and I forgot all about it. Anyways, here you go. ZOMG!!!11one, it's not 10, 11, or 12! anyways, enjoy. ROUND 17: AANG VS. LONG FENG I calmly walked back onto the battlefield after a considerable amount of down time. I guess they were too busy watching Toph, Sanaki, and Katara get the juice beaten out of them, but nonetheless, here I was. I figured that I would stand a decent chance against anyone I fought—except Ty Lee, that is. From what I saw, no one stood a chance against her—except maybe Sanaki—and Toph. I noticed that there was air representing me in two of the corners, and the other two had earth. This either meant Toph or Long Feng. Since Toph’s corners usually had metal in them too (similar to how Azula’s had lightning), I figured that this was Long Feng. I was right.
“And now,” said 253, “the avatar Aang will be facing off against Long Feng, head of the Dai Li!” Crowds cheered for me as I slowly walked out onto the field. I was disappointed that their cheers for Aang had been much louder, but cheers were cheers, and I didn’t have time to waste on such trivial matters. I looked at Aang with my lips pursed, and similarly, he said nothing to me. I glared at 253, awaiting his order. “And here’s Long Feng now,” said 253, “so now, the battle between the Avatar and the head of the Dai Li may begin!” I figured that a simple wall of earth would resist his air attacks, which I knew out of instinct that he would use first. I was right. I felt powerful winds penetrate my earthen wall, but I was able to throw it aside before he could get through it or make any of it hit me. However, he did throw me off guard by earthbending my wall back at me. I had forgotten, this was not just an airbender, this was the avatar. I sidestepped a majority of them, but I had not done so far enough, for some of the outlying rocks hit me and knocked me back, clean off the edge of the battlefield.
“Was it over already?” I thought to myself, because if the head of the Dai Li was that easy to beat, then I felt bad for the people of Ba Sing Se. I hadn’t counted on this, so I didn’t start celebrating. Instead I began gathering some water together to surprise him when he came back up. Just as I thought, he had used earthbending to spring back up. He apparently had fallen close enough to the edge that he was able to do such a thing. He sprang back up, and launched a fault line at me. It looked like Toph’s but it wasn’t as powerful. Nonetheless, for some reason, I was hit with it anyways. I was knocked back, but unlike him, I didn’t even hit the ground. Instead, I had flipped back into an upright position with the help of some airbending, and then threw my water attack at Long Feng. My attack had split somewhere on the way into thousands of droplets, many of which pierced the man like razor-sharp daggers. This time though, he did not fall back.
Seeing as I was not about to lose, even to the avatar, I did everything in my power to prevent getting knocked back. His little ice daggers had proved moderately effective in drawing blood, but it was not near enough to actually kill me. The killing part would come later, and it would be him that fell. I surrounded myself with earth, and then blasted it off in 16 different directions.
I countered his defensive to offensive attack with a burst of earth and air of my own. It formed something similar to a sandstorm, obscuring both our views. I guess I had overreacted. Nonetheless, the fight had to continue. I noticed that he was pretty resistant to water. I figured that he might have trouble with fire, the only element of mine that I hadn’t tested. I was about to give it a spin.
I managed to earthbend the particles of sand away, so that sandstorm subsided. I noticed now that he was going to use firebending on me. “So,” I thought, “he assumes that because I’m more resistant to waterbending, that I’d be less resistant against firebending? The boy is a very swift learner.” But nothing more; I simply began jabbing the air, which sent rocks flying towards Aang at a bent angle. I was not surprised to see him catch on after a lot of dodging, and he began punching the air, which made my rocks come back at me from a different bent angle. The rocks were going in circles. “Amusing,” I muttered, “but it is taking too long. I need to finish this fight.”
I wasn’t firebending anymore, but I was catching on that he wanted to finish the fight with his killing move. He called it the wall of pain, and I had seen a weaker version of it done on Sanaki several rounds ago. I saw the wall coming at me, and I knew it hadn’t reached its full strength yet, so I exploited it. I created a hole at the bottom of his wall so that it would pass over me, and it did. I knew though, that he had expected me to do that, so when a large mass of earth came sailing my way, I was naturally able to dodge it. It was here that I began to gain the upper hand. I was about to secure my win. I began firebending in the same reckless manner I had when I first tried and had burned Katara.
My defenses were faltering again, like they had with the little blind girl. This time, however, he was so close to me that I was able to locate the absence of the technique that most firebending lacks: defense. Sanaki was an exception. How she had learned firebending in such an unorthodox way was not know to me, nor was it a concern. My only concern was my fist nailing Aang in the gut, sending him reeling backwards, stunned. This was my moment. Within a very short time, my wall of pain was now towering over him, now coming down for the finishing blow. My victory was now 100% secure.
I knew I had made a mistake when I had started firebending, but seeing him bleeding from that and the ice darts made me grin as the huge wall of earth crumbled above me, sending me to my doom. So I had lost again. Big deal—I didn’t care. If Long Feng wanted to be bitter about winning or losing, then let him. People don’t change other people; they can only change themselves.
I had won a match of the Avatar Fight Club. No longer was I in the loser’s circle—now I was in between. Winning certainly was glorious. I said nothing though, even as 253 congratulated me to the audience. I did, however, glare at the little firebender now coming to take away Aang. She must have really been blind, because she did not even turn. An interesting thing about people is that if they’re looked at, they will always see who is looking at them—unless they’re blind. I decided to glory in my winning a little more before being taken away, and Sanaki and her waterbending friend nodded, leaving the arena. That was game.
So yeah! I forgot what I was going to do chapter 18 about, but maybe I'll remember later that it was Ty Lee vs. everyone else where Ty Lee wins. Or maybe it was the season finale where Sanaki goes to somplement her 253-9 win-loss record. Who knows? It could even be cabbage guy vs. Kyoshi. Okay... no more cactus juice for me... Here's the records now. STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 4-0 Toph: 3-1 Sanaki: 3-1 Mai: 1-0 Iroh: 1-0 Katara: 2-2 Long Feng: 1-1 Dre Yu: 1-1 Sokka: 1-2 Azula: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2 Aang: 0-2 Ozai: 0-2 Zhao: 0-2
So, whadya think? ~Katara~
