This is the part 4, the 3rd part was entitle zuko's struggle
Azula’s plan
Zuko’s pain started to get worse and at first he thought there was nothing he could do about it. Zuko unwarily started heating the water around him, mostly like from the anger building up from see his sister. Zuko felt his leg’s pain go down, but he knew if he wanted to keep the pain from coming back he would have to keep in the water. Zuko thought that he might be able to stealthy move down the river and get back to the camp.
Mai being mai had no expression on her face questioned what azula had said before about waiting till morning, “why wait, they are probably asleep and besides I am bored now.”
Azula looked calim from zuko’s view, “ But they might not be and besides we know that there are two waterbenders there, that water tribe peasant and the avatar, we will need the adv. Since they out number us.”
Ty lee started to stretch and speak, “well I beat that girl before and I can always take their bending away.”
Mai seem a little nervous, “well we aren’t fighting them one on one ty lee.”
Azula looked like she was about to have some fun, “Ty lee, I want u to check up on their camp and see whats going on over their, Mai I want u check the area around the camp to see if we can use it to our adv.”
Ty lee cartwheeled away and waved to the other two. Surprisingly Azula and mai both waved back. Zuko thought that this was as good as it was going to get. But before he could make an effort to swim away he looked up because he saw a shadow appear.
He moved out of its way quickly and it was a good thing to because it was ty lee. Zuko found it funny that out all his fights, this one, the one facing other members of the fire nation that he was gald to be fighting near and in water.
Ty lee look happy, “its been a while zuko.”
Ty lee tired to run at zuko as fast as she could but in the shoulder high water she found it difficult to say the least. Zuko pulled out his swords and managed to keep up with ty lee in the water, since ty lee didn’t stay near zuko for very long since it was boiling near zuko and could burn her if she stayed to close for to long. Mai soon joined in the fight by launching her knifes at zuko’s arms. Zuko saw them coming but with Azula joining in by shoot a streak of blue flames from the other direction zuko had to block Azula’s fire and take one of the two knifes to his upper right arm because he managed to hit the second one away from him. Zuko stood tall and knew that there was only way out of this and that was to win these seemingly impossibly odds. Zuko thought he had caught a break when azula who was still on dry land started to perform the lighting process. But soon remembered tht he was standing in water. Zuko think quickly grabed one of the knifes out of his arm and rip off his shirt and fill it with water and tied it into the knifes hole then threw it at azula before she could begin to fire it at him. Azula stopped after what zuko did but didn’t seem worried. Zuko would soon find out why. Ty lee managed to get close enough to strike zuko. Zuko fell in the water and seemed like he wasn’t getting back up for a while. At first Zuko didn’t mind though, he was tired and needed rest to begin with, but at soon as he realized that the avatar and his friends would have no idea what was going to happen the following morning he began to think about what his uncle, roku and himself have said. He never thinks things through.
