okay. from what I understand (which is very little--as usual lol) you want to know what exactly happens to Toph.
well... it's kinda... disturbing...
during her duel with Clazdian, he does that move where he picks you up by your face. he forms claws on two of his fingers and... well...
he puts Toph's eyes out.
and that's before the actual battle begins...
so Toph's got hollow, bloody eye sockets during the final battle. everyone but Sanaki (you should know why) finds it a disturbing sight.
as for Sanaki, well...

well, Clazdian totally destroys Sanaki's ankles with... simple means.
Sanaki's not too good on heights either...
so yeah, they're both disabled for a while... luckily Kai is there, so Sanaki does not suffer permanent damage though.
well actually, one very rare occasions afterwards, (and I mean very rare) Sanaki occasionally loses her balance and falls down for no reason. it leads back to this event.
but other than that, she's fine.

it's a pretty dark series as a whole...
I mena, come on, 4 people have died, and it's likely that 1 or 2 more might...
just like no one's been confirmed to die, no one has been confirmed to survive yet.
