alrighty, here's how this works. Any character that is a regular in Avatar Fight Club will have a regular role. Any guest characters will drop in and out occasionally. The Underground is the place where the fighters hang out when they're not fighting or watching someone else fight. These are not going to have any fixed length, but will appear much more common. Sometimes I might flash back to earlier episodes. I will manifest it by saying
(after the results of round X), or (before round XX), or what-not.
Anyways, I'll start out with this...
(between rounds 23 and 24)
The Fight Club cast were all lounging and lazing in the Underground. None of them really felt like practicing, especially since Ty Lee and Sanaki, the 2 best fighters and the funnest ones to train against, had both died.
"Of all the lousy times for you losers to make bets," Toph said, grinning as she collected cash from Ozai, Zhao, Sokka, Zuko, and Azula. toph accidentally stopped in front of Mai, where she promptly dropped a knife into Toph's hand.
"This is going to be in your throat if you try to collect money from me again," she said flatly.
"Whoa now," said Sokka, "save it for the next round of Fight Club!"
"But the next round of Fight Club is me vs. Katara," protested Aang. he was up and pacing, worried not only about that, but also for the season finale, which would be him vs. Ozai.
"So?" said Zuko, "what does that have to do with anything?"
"I like Katara," said Aang, "I wouldn't want to hurt her."
"You say that now," said a voice, "just wait until you get back on the battlefield." everyone except Toph turned. Ty Lee and Sanaki had just walked in, looking as good as new. normally, the winner would have been back and the loser would have come in around this time, but since they both had died, there had been the delay.
"I still don't understand how you made it here as a resident, Sanaki," Iroh commented, "it's just something to think about with my next cup of tea."
"You think about me that often?" Sanaki leered,
"anyways," said Azula, "let's see what Aang and KAtara's last words are before the lovers rip each other apart tomorrow.
"I have an answer, Aang." Sanaki leered again, "it's called Zutara."
Everyone except Aang, Zuko and Katara burst out laughing.
"son," said Ozai, "if you get with either of them I'm going to disown you."
"didn't you do that already?" Zuko retaliated,
"why, yes I did." Ozai replied, "it means I'll have to RIP YOU APART AND FEED YOU TO SABER-TOOTHED SCREAMING LEMURS!!"
"hold it," said Ty Lee, "question: where are you going to get saber-toothed screaming lemurs?"
"I'm the fire lord." Ozai replied, "I can do anything."
"but do you have the answer to Sanaki's problem," said another voice as it entered the underground. everyone, even Toph and Sanaki, recognized it as Dre Yu, a guest fighter.
"Zutara?" said Sanaki stupidly, her jaw hanging open,
"Tenaki." Dre Yu replied flatly. "not Tenaki2, Tenaki. THE Tenaki. That said, my work here is done."
"hold it, right there," said Sanaki, knowing that Tenaki was a crack ship between her and her arch-enemy Tera, who was a coldhearted supernatural that was fond of pounding on Sanaki without relent, "you have just requested the name of Fight Club Round 26. Anyone else agree?"
Everyone except for Katara, whose mouth was hanging open and allowing a small string of spit leak out from the corner because of what had been said about Zutara, immediately consented and cheered. Even the colder figures like Long Feng and Ozai were cheering this on enthusiastically.
"Rivalries always make the best fights!" said Sokka, "I've got to see this."
"Well," said Sanaki, turning towards the exit, "I'll just leave all of you pansies here and let the Fight Club Staff know that we have Round 26 planned out now. Smell ya later!"
As Sanaki left, the usual boredom was replaced by a buzz of excitement and humor. The thought of Tenaki was still buzzing through the minds of such people like Sokka, Toph, and Ty Lee, while others awaited the next fight: Katara vs. Aang, fillowed by the season finale. After that, Season II would commence.
so yeah, it'll be something like that, except there may be short fight scenes as well, and not every post will have guest characters in it.
