she has an interesting past...
and the mystery of what happened to her two children was never solved.
I mean, they were infants when they disappeared, and so logically they were asumed to have been killed.
but, since there's no proof of this, it's just been a 14-15 year assumption that's pretty much been shelved. Tenoko figures that's what happened even.
