but no, actually, the story is really cool--or at least the effects it had on Sanaki...
the damage to her frame was caused by the landing. I will confess to having enhanced the explosion, but was that not what you were trying to do, beat a record?
anyways, I slowly began draining Sanaki's consciousness. consciousness can be naturally recovered over time, so I knew that there would be no permanent effect. as I did this, she lost feeling in her arms and legs, so was not in pain.

Tera: awww... but the story was just getting interesting...
in reality though, I was only fulfilling Sanaki's deepest, most desperate desire of her heart. I overheard her say it to you.
Therefore, finding Sanaki as the interesting type, I decided to help her out, and play a little game in the process.
Sanaki thought she was dying because she's not accustomed to seeing. I wanted to make sure she got a clear view of her own face. my mission succeeded. However, I didn't want her aware of what she was doing, so I passed her out. That was when her dear friend Kai found out, and brought her back to life.
I personally would have dragged it out a little longer, but, alas, you can't win everything in life...

If you had meant to hurt her, I would have killed you, then and there.

But you should have asked her, or at the very least, me.

fact remains though that I didn't.
anyways, as far as asking, I felt it unnecessary. Sanaki practically asked me. I figured I could lend a hand to a friend in need, so I did.
Oh, and it seems you two are closely bonded. I like that in humans. it's cute. *winks*

I don't even recall you being there at the time, so you were eavesdropping on us, for a start.

And you can't just mess around with peoples heads like that, I would have thought that you would have gained some responsibilty with power like that.

However, I know what it meant to Sanaki, and she seems to have recovered completely...

You'd just better hope nothing permanent came from your actions.

Anything you sense between me and Sanaki is none of your business.
