well, she might actually be...
I'm still trying to figure out if there's a main character, but there are 5 characters so far...
Zakura--an earthbending avatar. an Earth Kingdom Princess, she acts rude and barbaric, but shares a close bond with the Avatar guard.
Shinon--Zakura's waterbending teacher. he speaks very little, but is very cunning. Also a member of the Avatar Guard
Zinjamyn--Zakura's earthbending teacher. he is rough and tough, and the leader of the Avatar Guard.
Alzar--Zakura's firebending teacher. a dangerously cunning and intelligent woman, she is also a blademaster, and is the most powerful member of the Avatar Guard.
Aiku--Zakura's airbending teacher. He believes in honor and fights for his friends. He is a very skilled member of the Avatar Guard, and is world-renowned.
Tera--a supernatural that is around 10000 years old. This is the same Tera that we all know and love. sometimes though, she disappears.
oh, and it is rumored that Alzar is a descendant of Sanaki.
oh, and wehn Tera disappears, she's visitng her family (Kai, Kai, Zihark, Sanaki, Mikaya, Zuki, etc.) on the other side.

I actually noticed the similarity between Alzar and Sanaki's mother, actually... you know, I saw that one pic...

well, that's kinda how I pictured her too...
but yeah. for a while, these characters will likely look however the reader decides to picture them.
but yeah, it's definitely gonna be what I write after "The Cycle Survived"...
