Ozana: The thing is, I don't think SokkaWu can think that complexly. He may understand it while he's asleep, but when he's awake he's basicaly an 8 foot tall 3 year old.

Ozana: even without being able to hear, I can tell.
SokkaWu laughs and talks a lot. He and Aang together could kill a non-deaf person.
