no tai chi, which is wat it is based off of does not use feet. besides name one time a waterbender has used his or her feet

i cant think of any martial arts styles that use the feet and are also free and flowing like waterbending in general but i think that running on water and using the feet for minor bending is definately possible if developed

Ok... I've come to a conclusion. Waterbenders can use both their hands and feet, but tend to use their hands a lot more, because most of their techniques are based on hand movements. But in rare cases, they will use their feet to extend the power of their techniques, or to freeze their feet so they will stand solid, or to surf.

hay i think thay can we saw katera run on water but princes azula insted of using like 5 posts to say one thing why not just use one post there is not a limet on the letters if you reley want to rank up then just go to a lot of topics and reply dont come to one and reply 5 time if you forgot to say something then modify tour post were not sopost to doble post

THEY CAN ...i just watched puppet master again and in it HAMA says they tied our hands and FEET so we COULDNT bend !!!

In The Earth King Katar does a huge water whip with her feet, but she might be using her hands to help her along. Obviously using the feet is not a preferred/practical style generally.

yes, and if we r talking bout moves here, and waterbending is based on tai chi, then isnt one based on kung fu? wasnt that fire? and how about tai quan do, or karate? All of the main styles of bending are based on types of kung fu. The style of bending that the benders at the north pole use is based on tai chi, a type of kung fu. I think there are only a few characters in avatar that do not use kung fu to fight. |
