Umm.... What?! Read the replies on page 4 please.... There were good arguments there. To sum it up, the fighting style of waterbending didn't utilize so much feet movement like earthbending and firebending. That's why we don't see much waterbending with feet. They probably just didn't train like that. The bending arts has potential to use any part of the body to bend. Bumi has such a deep experience and grasp of earthbending that he can use his head! Furthermore, the plantbender that uses the weeds and other wet plants to cover himself up and use as a super suit can move around. To move around, he'd have to use HIS FEET to waterbend the "legs and feet" of the plant suit. So there.  |

I really hope they could, because then, (in correspondence with what I said in another thread) Katara could not only bend her spitwad, but then use a roundhouse kick to send it towards the fire lord at 300+MPH.

why not, i think they can even bend with thei eyes, cause i just a new way to benmding, is like earth benders, for example, the aangs friend (the omashu's king), he was in a metal prision, but when azula atacked them, he bent whint his eyes and made a big stone, so, if he could do it, why not water benders, they just need pratice

yes they can, just like firebenders can bend fire from their feet, earth benders can bend earth with their feet, and airbenders can bend air with their feet

i would actually have to say no. waterbending is based on the pushing and pulling of the water that they learned from the moon spirit. even tho i would like to see it, i dont think that is part of their bending style unless a master stumbles upon it

i do think though that when they bend water onto their feet they do it with their hands not their feet... just my theory

I think that waterbenders could definitely do it, just they probably wouldn't even if they could because then their fighting style would be too close to earthbendeing and maybe resemble lke firebending a bit, which isn't the real purpose.

I think the if you look closely at 'The Earth King' when katara jumps over the bridge, she uses her feet I believe to move the water whip.
