if fire cant exist insapce cause theres no oxigen and comets are made up of ice and rock then why would a comet make firehbenders stronger.lol i'm stumped. Also its just a show so anythings possible

cool Burningearth.. but I didn't get your question.. what do you mean by that? firebenders get their energy by a coment because this comet was in a very fast speed. That made him burn. And everywhere where fire is, there is an energy source for the fire benders. One example is the sun.

When the show creators (any show, really) want to use more mythology, magic and etc.., they'll just use it with no science. And when they do want science (Sokka is a great example of this), then they'll just use science. I remember Kudugu saying that the comet's empowering of firebenders involves more of a spiritual aspect, more so than of a realistic and scientific viewpoint from the firebenders utilizing it. Take it literally: "Ooh! Big Blazing ball of fire flying in the sky! It's so close to us! I reckon I could use this... Like flaming steroids baby!" Voila.  |
