but a good story should get you hooked.
I mean, if it can't even hook the writer, it can't be expected to hook too many readers. (not saying yours is in this group...)

Well, seeing as I've sort of already read it, in my mind, before I write it, I don't write it for me...

Of course, I am actually working faster than my jokes would have you beleive. It's just a really long chapter...

as for my chapters, mine are all a fixed length (between (N x 100) and ([N+1] x 100). it might be because of my terrible title making skills (95% of my fics get their titles after I've finished writing them. all of the TOAS chapters have been this way) and perhaps also to be slightly easier on readers. ('coz in our flawed world, people are lazy, and don't want to read too much of anything at one time.)

but yeah, writing is something I generally do on my spare time (especially when internet access is limited) and so I'm able to put out a lot.

(and on a side note, the average length of one of your chapters is about 3 of mine, give or take)

incidentally, a lot of Katara's story gets told here, and you'll start to see some obvious connections as I put more of her story up.

but hey, there was a 108-day gap (253 - 145) between your last two, and right now you're only on 87 (340 - 253)...

the only issue is, is with a short attention span like I have, I find it hard to hold a lot of interest in something that makes such slow progress. that might have been one of the contributing factors as to why my liking for avatar dropped... (or maybe it was Suki's return... or the finale... or Kataang. yeah, Kataang. that makes everything suck xD)

But yeah, I think this one will be right up your alley, what with the plot twist, big reveal, underlying story, and blood and gore.
