except I believe that she'll reveal herself to be 17...
she'll still have that same weakness (of being weak) but just not quite as much...
'coz yeah, overpowered youth+my fanfics=big nono

Sweet, another wicked chapter to this interesting series. ;D
BTW That whole "18+" reference is actually a good example of fanfiction, because you cant really see the side of the Avatar Universe by watching the show (cos it's a kid's show and all) That's why fans made their own story.

and well, I'm not ever gonna write an 18+ fanfic, but there might be little moments like that... I mean, I don't want it to feel "kiddy" which is why most of my characters aer 18 and older (Sanaki and I think one other character I introduce later on are the only "minors" [17])

Yeah, I don't give anyone super-special-awesome-mega-ultra powers in mine... I mean, everyone has limits. Even the Avatar...
And sometimes, balancing it with some fault or weakness still istn't enough, so I jsut steer clear of that area...
Although, I do use youths with skill... not power, but skill. That, plus luck, (and the fact that they're named characters) lets 'em kill/beat much older people.
Of course, jsut being a main character doesn't guarrantee success. I mean, Vic is more main than Hume, and yet I recall many occasions where he gets frozen or knocked on his emo ass... Rofl.

and yeah, even Zakura's not "all-powerful" (though she might tell you otherwise)
I mean, she's STILL being taught by The Four Benders, despite being a fully-realized avatar...
but yeah, I'll tread into the "danger-power-zone" before the "overpowered (lucky, skilled, etc) youth" zone...
the exception is Katara, but she's a rare case (of course, being born with an excess of something--seems like something that might happen... =B )
