That was actually the most violent fight he has been in.
Most are one on one, with Benders he has, in some way, insulted.
Usually because of his dislike of Bending when it isn't necessary.

ouch. it sounds like he and Sanaki would not get along, because Sanaki says that bending is necessary 24/7. (maybe it's because she has to use it to locate her surroundings though)

indeed. Sanaki makes a terrible first impression on people. However, should she meet them again, she usually makes a really good 2nd impression.

Well, he generally makes a bad impression, then never meets you again...
He travels a lot, going to Bending competitions all over the world, to hone his skills.
