I mean, she feeds off of people's reactions, so the more pissed off they get at her for doing stuff, the more she's going to do it...

just because she's afraid to talk doesn't mean she's weak...
and of course, she's got a story of those few weeks in prison between the time she was scarred and the time Cheng got her... (because it took a few weeks for that scar to form into what it is now, and if you recall, in the 1st or 2nd chapter it said it hadn't quite formed completely yet)
