I wasn't just blaming you or darK.
it's more the "love the sinner hate the sin" principle.
thing is, is post count isn't as important to us as members, as the staff seem to make it out to be.
if I wanted to brag about my post count, I would. thing is, I really don't care. =P
but fro my proboards experience, I've found that good staff members mingle with the regular members and post right alongside them.
The only thing that should differentiate a staff member and a regular member are that the staffies should be looking out for things that would harm the forum. They shouldn't just exclusively do mod stuff, 'coz to the members, who can't track that sort of thing, it makes the staffies look like deadbeat losers who don't do anything but boss other people around with their rules. This site seems to be the only one I'm a part of where this is a problem.
Members like staff who act like regular people, because in real life, that's what they are. I'm pretty sure none of us on these forums are some president or governor IRL, but that's getting off-topic. (=3)
I guess what it all boils down to is my complaint that, with kataang as a recent exception, the staff almost never intermingle with the members.

quit whining and thinking I'm attacking only you. I'll do the honors of bursting your bubble, and let you know right now that not everyone is gonna have the same opinions on things as you do.  your idea of a perfect society might be someone else's hell, and vice-versa. anyways, that's not the point. was it total anarchy before that rule came about? no it wasn't. was I happy before that rule? f*** yeah I was.  is it still a good site even with that weighing it down? for the most part it is. but yeah, not everyone is gonna think these new additions are "oh so wonderful" 'coz truth be told, they ain't.  just a couple of things to think about with your morning cup of coffee. ~Azula~ |

but yeah, sorry that you have to take all the stuff that's meant for the staff as a whole
that'd be the one reason I'd want to be a staff member, so I could discuss this sort of thing straight up with them.
