But she seemed so much worse in the beginning. After she talked with Alzar, everything changed.

well, she's kinda always a jerk, but she's a friendly jerk.
And previous to the story she had kinda been provoking Alzar until Alzar could no longer take it.

same here...
of course, then one time Alzar laid a really hard blow on Zakura by snapping that her [Alzar's] parents actually loved her.
that being Zakura's sensitive point, it made her mad. it took Ryuka, Aiku, Shinon, and Zinjamyn to hold Zakura back from literally ripping Alzar apart.
not a very good subject to make fun of Zakura about.
