I chose air. Not just beacuse thats Aang's element but I think it has an advantage over every element. Air blows out fire, air can block water attacks, and air benders can move more quickly than the earth benders. So thats why i chose air!

I'm just gonna break it down a bit before I make my decision.

Air-There's an ample amount of Air to bend obviously. In fact the only place you're out of luck would be under water. Air boasts speed and evasiveness. But notice all over Avatar its portrayed as completely defensive. Even when Aang fought using Airbending he just knocked people away so that he could escape (well, until Ozai that is...). Just look at his two favorite ways to Airbend, the scooter and glider, both are about quick travel, not combat. Airbending also lacks any type of more powerful sub-bending.

Fire-Offensive. Totally offensive. And from what I can tell it has the only one hit KO move, Lightningbending.

Earthbending-A great mix of offense and defense. Plus with the addition of metalbending you can bend just about whatever you're standing on.

Waterbending-Another great mix of offensive and defensive abilites. Plus on a fullmoon I can't think of any way to stop a bloodbender. Not only that but they can manipulate plantlife with Plantbending. Okay granted Plantbending and Bloodbending are unknown to the Southern and Northern Tribes. They can also pull the water out of the vapor in the air. If you think about it a Waterbender who has mastered all of the above would be almost unstable in a fullmoon.

Honestly it would come down to either Fire or Earthbending for me still.

wow... I just choose Water coz you can bloodbending and fire because of lightning...

and yeah I think Firebending is awesome.. and waterbending can heal and is usefull^^

obviously mines earth bending earth is everywhere even the fire benders cant escape it that and you can fly with earth to you just need a piece of land to hold you up and the ability to do it lol ^^

hmmm... my fav bending would be... waterbender cuz its has healing which would be useful plus bloodbender and planetbendering.... bloodbender could be useful, just imaging what skwl would be like with no teachers.. !!!!

counting what you all explained... i feel like an idiot...
