So i was wondering, since when do posts in Ember Island not count? Has this always been like this?

well actually that was a change put into effect by the staff. the reason being this site is an avatar site primarily, and though we do encourage participating in other topics, the posts will only count in the avatar-related boards.

ironically, post count was supposed to be removed from Ember Island starting January 1, 2008. it used to say that under the board.
of course, I lerned that that never went into effect, and it went from there. =3

yes and until we can assure that the avatar topics are participated in it will remain that way. of course we dont want people to just post to rank up

if I did that I would have stopped/slowed down about 46000 posts ago.
but on that note, perhaps posts should count in the Avatar RPG board (being avatar and all)
we just need to get avatar chatter back up

Im assuming because of the fact that posts dont count in EI anymore, the 4 word rule is no longer in effect/encouraged in EI?
