Three wishes

Alright, here's the deal. Something happens, and you get three wishes. It could be a genie, a diety, some kind of magic bdoorknob, I don't care. What would you wish for?

Basic rules of wishing:

1. You cannot wish for more wishes.
2. You cannot wish for someone to die, or for a situation to occur in which the only possibility is their death.
3. You cannot bring the dead back to life.
4. You cannot wish for anyones emotions to be affected in any way.

Alright people, start your wishing. (Be creative. I know several ways to break my own rules... hehe... )

Alright then.

1. I wish to be the master of death in every way that I can think of it, including immunity, control, removal and cause. (No copycats!)
2. I wish to control space-time.
3. I wish for arcane powers, whose only limit is my imagination. (No need for wishes then. ^^ )

1. I wish to be able to know the truth of all things.
2. I wish to be able to have a happy family and a good life
3. I wish that I would die peacefully.

Power is overrated. Wisdom is cooler. (and Courage is meh. anyone who does not get that Power/Wisdom/Courage reference needs to go out and play some real video games)

i think oro broke is own rule by wishing to master death....

1. I wish for abundant knowledge (as defined by me)
2. I wish for personal peace and prosperity for my family and i
3. I hope to live long (not uber long but to live a full life)

i kinda copied grangran but there where some good ideas in there

2. granted, but it's Monopoly money...

The rule was that the wish couldn't cause someone to die. I just made the wish allow me to do it myself, although I could use it to bring people back, as well, so it's not all "Kill, kill, kill!" and stuff. Yay logically cheating on wishes!

Anyway, as for wishing for knowledge, I seriously considered it, but, then I realised that I don't have the cranial capaticity to know everything, because that's a lot to know. The exact specifications of every object in the universe, for one thing. Wishing for truth is only useful if you first wish for a ridiculous ammount of mental capacity, which is using two wishes. I'd rather get one for one, if you know what I mean.

that is why instead you just wish to be in control of everything in existence. that way you would be in control of how much you knew [in my case, everything] and I'd be in control of my mental capacity.

my power and wisdom would be infinite.

But then you'd have to make all new paradimes. All it is is an event happening that's only possible outcome is an infinite loop, and so that event cannot happen, because if it does, well, the laws of the universe would be broken and who the hell knows what'd happen then... (I'd guess a Big Crunch, but that's just a guess)

when I say EVERYthing, I meant EVERYthing. I actually say what I mean and mean what I say.

since EVERY thing is included in EVERYTHING, I'd ALSO be in control of infinite loops.
I seem able to comprehend the term "everything" a little better than you.

Except that it is impossible to control everything, so I was attempting to give you control of as many things as ciably possible. Wishing for that, and getting it, pretty much destroys the universe then and there.

See, when you said everything, I took it for it's actual meaning. Everything. As in, every thing. As in you control all things. This, while problematic, isn't instantaneously universally destructive. If you attempted to, say, control logic, that'd be an apocolyptic event, due to the whole universe saying "screw that" as it's fundamental laws of truth being undone.

alright... well, that was only my first wish. my 2nd one would be to wish to ensure that that was possible. Then again, that's sot of a waste of a wish just because the thread starter can't comprehend it...

and no, again, you lack the comprehension.
"everything" means EVERYthing.
that means I'd control even the infinite loops, paradoxes, apocalyptic events, and everything else.

sorry, but as always, I win. everything means EVERYthing. What part of that do you not understand?
