Thought this was a really cool match up since both of them like Sokka. Toph's and Suki's fight to the death. Who will win!?

O geez..... Really hard for me to pick...
Toph IS my favorite character, but I also have an urge to defend Suki, who is also awesome....
Toph could have an advantage because since both of these fighters use a lot of ground work, Toph has good control of her surroundings. Suki can jump and dodge the earthbending here and there, but I think overall that Toph will triumph over the Kyoshi Warrior. But this is just on earthly terrain.
Weapon and melee-wise, then Suki will totally win. Toph might have some jabs and whatnot up her sleeve, but Suki will win in that kind of fight.
Voted Toph still. ;D

Toph, there is only one way for suki to win, there are both in a lake or ocean, or some other large body of water, but other than that no way for her to win

toph beats suki so bad that sokka feels bad and comforts her. so tophs plan backfires.

it's like Sokka vs Katara. both are formidable, but about 99.87563141592653585646219% of the time, a bender will defeat a warrior--unless it's Ty Lee, but that's for another time.
just my thoughts.

Toph, there is only one way for suki to win, there are both in a lake or ocean, or some other large body of water, but other than that no way for her to win It would be hard for Suki to fight at the bottom of the ocean, because that is where Toph would end up if the battle were in the water, because she can't swim. If they were in water, Suki might win if Toph doesn't drag her down because Toph would die. Alas, Toph's one weakness.  |

I still say that Toph is to stubborn to let Sokka get away. She hates losing and won't accept defeat to some dressed up warrior doll.  |
