"Best friends forever, Iroh!" Toph wailed weakly, with one of her last breaths. she was lying facedown, soaked in her own blood. Nearly incapable of moving, she could not look up at Iroh's face.
"Whis one of us went wrong?" Iroh asked, and Toph didn't answer.
"How could we have done such a terrible thing?" Iroh thought to himself, wondering how much longer Toph would last, ":we have destroyed ourselves, our friendship--even our tea is gone.
Toph mustered up all her strength and looked up at the old man.
"I'm..." she began, "I'm sorry Iroh. I'm sorry that I can't go on with you. Be sure to tell me how it goes... when... you... ...get... ...there... ... ... ...
And then Toph's head went back down into her own blood, never to move again.
