to an extent...
but actually, most fanfic/RPG characters I know are in their late teens or early 20s...
(and the avatar gang were early teens)

well, the concepts for even her appearance were based off of a female Zuko someone drew...
and her storyline is sort of like Zuko's, except she wasn't royalty. she was exiled for challenging a high-ranking member of the Order to an Agni Kai.
she was actually about to beat him, but some other members stepped in. one of them even made a reference to Zuko, and then burned the side of her face in the same manner.
she also saw her family killed in front of her as a result of her actions, and that scarred her mentally as well.

but yeah, some of them have really interesting stories...
and there's more "romance" ("shipping. lol) in this one than there was with my Kai one.
