...the closest I've ever gotten to the 15+ rating was the subtle reference in round 23 when Sanaki got hit in the chest.

yeah, that was pretty graphic violence.
...then again, I don't see excessive violence as a terrible thing when it's just words on a page.
(even Sanaki thought your description of how V'Icternus would kill her was cool)
I don't like sex in literature though.
