i'm pretty sure aang's mother is dead (sorry to sound so morbid)...it would be cool IF she was alive but i highly doubt she is

I think, they're both dead, with monks and stuff parents don't play such a big role in their children's life as our parents, but, they certainty won't live for 112 years.

Probably every baby is given to the monks to train, probably the reason why there are so few Airbenders is because thethe genders are seperated, so, they don't meet all that often. as for Aang's mom, she's defanatly dead.

well that's an interesting question to impose... died giving birth? i know it sounds bad, but, i rly dunno.... sence he's the avatar, who says he's 'born' anyway? The avatar is, after all, just a reincarnation so maybe he's just there? created in a way other than coming out of a female.

*shrugs*...we don't know anything about his parents. Just Monk Gyatso, which I think Aang sees as a father/grandfather/mentor/friend figure was everything for Aang wrapped up in one. I don't think Aang even knows where his parents were back then. He probably never asked. Would be interesting to find out though. I always thought that the air temples were more like boarding schools and the monks being teachers. Kinda like a Catholic boarding school near my house where the brothers and nuns are teachers.
