its not a avatar story its my horse story hope you like
Chapter One
It all began on a Monday in North Carolina. Snow ate nosily. Snow was a TB and was very curious “yum”, she said “I wonder if any grain tastes better”.
As soon as Snow ate, Suger (her younger sister) slipped away. When Snow finished she looked around to see if Suger was done. When she got to her bucket she was gone. “ Mom is going to kill me”, said Snow sighing. Suger always ran away. Her small hoof prints were allover form the past run a way’s so that she could not find her.
Snow called for Suger, there was no answer. She stomped all around the barn. Until she came across a soft gravel road with Suger’s hoof prints! “Whoa!” she said in shock “ she took another path”. “Smart Suger but not smart enough.” She walked on to find her lost sister.
Snow followed her sister’s tracks until she came across a grassy plain. You see it was the last week of winter so grass was growing like a weed. Anyway Snow looked and saw a long path of grass were Suger must have ate from. She ate a little and followed the path.
Finally she came across a stream she drank one gallon of fresh water and took a nap. She woke at the sound of a coyote. When morning came she took a break and another drink and set off again. She followed the trail onto a dirt road “Hoof prints and paw prints!” “Maybe she met a friend” she said sounding worried. Little did she know her journey had only begun.
Chapter 2
Snow stuck to the trail like glue to paper looking hear and there until she came across a tall valley of grass. Snow stopped then looked to the North some an old barn laid there. She galloped to the side of the barn on the broken door a sign said “KEEP OUT DANGER!” Snow stopped on a dime, “Well I guess I’m not wanted”. Just then a dog barked.
“Come in”. Snow looked around ear’s forward, “Why should I come in if I can’t see you”? “Hmmm…. Good point”. A white and black collie stepped out. “Forgive me I don’t get many gust”. “Hum... I wonder why”!!! Snow replied. Snow followed the dog upstairs to a back room. As the dog opened the door a neigh hit Snows ear’s like a drum. She spun around and ran so fast the ground left her feet. Around the corner was Suger caught in a trap connected to the left hind leg.
Chapter 3
The dog ran over to help Suger but she just pinned back her ears and squealed, “I thought you said it was safe here.” “I did but not around the back I told you to be careful”, the dog growled loudly. That was it Snow had enough she reared up landing hard on the poor dog’s tail sending her howling in pain. Snow ran over to help her sister Suger just smiled and said weakly, “Sorry I ran away.” “Me to”, said Snow in tears. She slept with her all night long sobbing and hoping for her to live.
The next morning Snow woke up and saw her sister had not woke up so walked away sniffing. “Snow”, Suger weakly said. “Yes I’m here” said Snow trotting up to her side. Suger tried to get up but Snow stopped her, “You think Im going to just let you get up after all you went through?” “Wait here”. After a long wait Snow came back with a long board and some long twine she had found on her way to the house.
Snow put her sister on the board and started to pull. Just then Suger squealed loudly, “Snow please stop the trap is still connected to my foot and it’s still a little sore.” Snow stopped pulling and looked back she looked at her sister sadly and, started to think if she didn’t get the trap off she would die. So later on that day a bulldog walked up to them and asked, “Hi ladies do you need any help?” “Well” said Snow “depends who’s asking.” Puffing up the dog answered, “My name, my lady, is Armstrong.” Slowly Snows ears eased forward.
Chapter 4
“Well alright my sis’s foot is caught.” After a long while they got the trap off and said their good-bye’s and the horses were off. “Thank you so much Armstrong we could not have done it with out you”. As they said goodbye Suger sighed, “Well I guess that’s it then I will never do anything like that again promise”. Soon after that they reached home tired and really wet from the dew.
From that day forward Suger never ran away again well for now that is
