if more people acted like Sanaki we'd live in a much happier world.
we'd be a more lively and cheerful bunch too.
the downside? no one would know what anything else looked like...

Tera: hmm... I don't think it's possible for Sanaki to go deaf.
in fact, she has some of the beat hearing abilities I've ever seen.

Tera: from my experiences, I think it's the other way around.
if you're born blind or deaf or what-not, then you're used to it. take Sanaki for example.
She was born blind, and she's used to it. She doesn't know what it's like to see.
being born with it would mean you never know what life would be like without the trait, and so you're semi-content.
if you lost it, then you might yearn for it, knowing how it feels...
just my thoughts.

Ozana: those are along my same thoughts I think. being deaf is I think a lesser disadvantage then being blind though

Tera: Sanaki doesn't seem to think that being blind is a disadvantage at all. she loves it.
I mean, she's a world-class firebender and she can't even see. she uses that skill of hers (firebending) to see for her.

Tera: yeah... I noticed that. Sanaki's senses are very peculiar.
it makes me wonder how she operates...
of course, I could find out myself by making myself temporarily blind, but it wouldn't be the same. I know what it's like to be able to see. Sanaki does not.
