green Flames part 1 aang story

The day Aang was defeting the fire lord the fire lord hit aang so bad that he could of died but he didn't. So after he got hit, aang took out the fire lord. So they won the battle, the gaang left to go tell the earth kingdom the good news. but on the way something terriable happened.

The gaaang was all on appa going over seas thats when it happened.

katara: hey aang are you ok you don't look so good. Do you want me take over ''driving'' appa?

Anng: no i'm todally fine i can handle it.

Toph: even though were not on the ground i can tell your lieing.

Sokka: aang let katara take over you really don't look so good.

Aang: no i'm fine just let...me ...drive....i'm...f..i..n..e

aang looked very pale, and looked like he could pass out any min.

Toph: SOMEONE HELP AANG NOW!!!!!

At that moment aang closed his eyes and started to slide off of appa. katara ran over and caught aang right before he fell todally off.

Katara: sokka go drive

Katara caried aang over were everyone was sitting. Everyones faces were shocked. At that moment Katara took out her water and tried to heal aang, but it was working.

Toph: is he ok?

Katara: i don't think so

The aang stated to open his eyes again.

Katara: aang are you alright?

Aang: i don't think so

Sokka: what happened at the battle that would make you like this?

Aang: i did get hit pretty hard by this glowing fireball but the promble is it wasn't red like normal fire it was Green.

Toph; Green?

aang: yea green. when it hit me i felt like it just sucked the life out of me.

Katara: that doesn't sound normal

Toph: i think we need to go see some one if your hurt this bad by a green flame.

aang: i think so too

So the gaang changed their direction to go back to the fire nation to go talk to zuko. when tehy got there zuko was there waiting for them to.

Katara: zuko what would a green flame do to a person?

Zuko: a green flame?

sokka: yea and aang said it felt like it sucked the life out of him

zuko: well all i can tell you it isn't good.

Now that gaang is the fire nation katara fells scared even more.After seeing what happened to aang at the attack. katara just felt scared. Her emotions, and thoughts were running through her head like mad. She didn't know what to do to help aang. it just seemed like no one knew what green flames did. No one has even seen green flames it was just plain out werid. Her emotions for aang were also an issue. She was afride that he would die. but she wasn't going to give up yet, she wants to keep aang alive.

Zuko: Katara i think i know someone who might help you

katara: who?

Zuko: you know one of them my uncle iroh, and my mom

Katara: but zuko i don't even know were they are

Zuko: but i do

katara and zuko went off to ember island and thats were they found zuko's mom and uncle. they were just sitting there on the beach watching the sunset. there was some other people there to they were part of the white lotus group.all of sudden zuko's mom looks up and sees zuko gets up and hugs zuko. then everyone notices that other people were there to. uncle iroh looks up and sees zuko gets up and also hugs him.

Zuko: mom, uncle have you ever seen green flames?

zuko's mom: green flames no i haven't

uncle iroh: yes i have but they are very dangerous why do you ask?

zuko: because in the battle aang said he got hit by green flames. he also felt like it sucked the life out of him.

uncle iroh: oh on

Katara: oh no what

uncle iroh was shocked to see that katara was here, but he had an idea why she was here.

Katara; what do green falmes do to a person?

uncle iroh: well all i can tell you that it isn't good. green flames kill you from the inside out.

with that question awsered katara's face went to puzzled to frighted.

After katara got the bad news of what green flames did. all she wanted to do was cry insted she asked unclce iroh what she could do to help aang in anyway. Uncle iroh said there was nothing they could but not to tellaang what was goning on because he would freak out. And thats what they did. Zuko and Katara got on the back of appa and went off to the fire nation to see how aang was doing. When they got there aang couldn't stand which ment that the green flames had already killed his legs. Katara went over to aang not showing any emotion on her face because she didn't want aang to know what was going on. aang started to to talk.

Aang: Katara did you find you find out what green flames do yet?

katara was speachless not knowing what to say insted zuko helped out awsering the question.

Zuko: oh.. they said that it's nothing to really worry about. just a bug

unluckly toph was in the same room with them all and could tell that Zuko was lieing. toph knew what was going to happen to aang because she could feel the vibrations of aangs body.And most peoples vibrations in there body were always high but aang's where not as high. She knew he was going to die. Toph said nothing knowing that zuko, and katara didn't want to tell him so she kept her mouth shut.

after the sun set and aang was sleeping toph went over to Katara who wasn't sleeping at all.

toph wispered to katara what was going on.

Toph: katara i know what's going to happen to aang.

katara threw her head around and looked at toph trying not to cry.

Toph: i found out when you all left.

Katara: thanks for not telling anyone.

Toph: any time sugar queen

Katara: if he knew he would freak out

Toph: i know

katara: toph can i tell you a serect

Toph: yea what is it?

katara: i love aang a lot and i feel like if he dies, i'm going to die with him.....he's my lover....my soulmate, and i can't live without him

Toph's face wasn't shocking like other people's faces would look like if they were told a secret. toph's face just looked calm.

Toph: i know

katara: you know?

Toph: yea i always could tell your heart beating faster when you got close to him.

Katara: oh......blushing....

Katara looked at toph than started to cry. luckly no one could hear her besides toph. toph help Katara for the next hour claming her.by the time she stoped crying it was 10:00p.m so they went off to bed. Katara felt better. She was glad she had a friend like toph.

The next day everyone woke up at 6 a.m ready to go back to the Earth kingdom. Sokka picked up aang and put him up on appa. Everyone was ready to go, but before they left katara ran up to zuko thanking him for thanking her wwoth him to Ember Island.after that she got on appa and ''drove'' him up in the air and they headed to the Earth kingdom to tell them that the fire lord was gone forever. also Katara's other purpose was to find something to heal aang before he died.When they got there and told the people the good news, katara ran off to go and find the thing she needed to help aang. When she ran off toph saw her and went with her to.

Katara knew one thing no medicine would help aang. she knew that by what uncle iroh told her. so toph and Katara went to the library to find some secret way that hasn't been used in a while or some sercret way that wasn't discovered yet to help her lover. they looked for hours and hours. the next day they looked for even more hours then it happened katara found the book that would help anng forever.

Toph came running over to katara after she found the book that they needed. the book had old pictures of a women who was a waterbender.


--- what the book said ---
it told that there was once a waterbender 200 years ago who was so powerful that she could heal anything even the dead. the sad thing about the waterbender she was only 14 when she died. the people believed that she was an avatar, but she wasn't. every 200 years there would be a women waterbender would have the power like her. if your birthday was july 18th after 200 years of the death of the powerful waterbender you would have the power just like her.


katara closed the book and looked at toph. Toph's face looked like she was focusing hard on something.

katara: toph?

Toph; what?

Katara: what are you thinking about?

Toph; well i'm counting. i just found out that who ever has the power like that girl in book has to be 14 right now.

Katara; well i'm 14

toph: i know..when was your birthday?

katara: my birthday is july, 18th why

toph; Sugar queen your that person don't you see

Katara looked so suprised to what toph said that she was also confused. katara thought it was a myth.

Katara: but toph that little girl died when she was 14 does that mean i would die too?

toph; no, first of all we don't know how she dies

Katara opened the book again reading it out loud to toph and her self.

-what the book also said-
the little girls name was Remona. the day of her death was teribble. Remona had a childhood lover who was dieing of a misterious flame so she used all her power to save him. But it was to late the boy died. remona got so upset that people say her eyes glow Royal blue she then put her hand over the boy and used all her power to bring him back to life. the boy woke up and he was alive and cured. then Remona told the boy how much she loved him the boy also told her how much she loved her. that's when it happened remona got up to help the boy up.after he got up she fell down to her knees then fell to the floor eyes closed. the boy tried to help her but she was died. the power to bring back the died was so powerful that it took out her power and her life. All we know about the boys family today is that the family lives at the southpole. there is a mother and a father. the father is the one who is relaited to the boy who loved remona. the mother and the father have two kids. a boy and a girl. people believe the girl is the next one to have that power. today she is 14. every time the girl dies the one who loved the powerful bender that boys family well have the next ''Remona''

Katara closed the book. toph sat down right next to katara trying to figure out who that person was. and if they found that person maybe the could heal aang.

Katara crossed her fingers hoping they well find out who this person was.

toph and katara walked out of the building with their faces looking puzzled. they both walked over to the house they were staying at for a while.they walked in everyone was a sllep it was dark and cold out. sokka was the only one who wasn't sleeping. he was setting there waiting for them both. when they got in sokka got up and hugged them both. his face looked wet, but he tryed to hide it. Katara said nothing knowong that he knows whats wrong with aang.Katara looked at sokka saying zuko told you. he replied with a nod. Katara and toph told sokka what they found out at the library. sokka nodded the whole time while they were speaking.when they finshed talking sokka said ''i know who she is'' the girls looked suprised.
they both asked who? sokka said ''well isn't easy to find out who it is. It's Katara.'' Katara started to ask questions but sokka interuped saying'' father is the decendent of the boy.which makes you the next powerful waterbender. katara's mouth dropped open , she had nothing to say.Sokka told Katara that their father told sooka to tell Katara when she was ready. with that the three of them went to bed.


the next day Katara woke up early sitting there watching over aang. then aang woke up. he tryed to get up but he couldn't. his legs, and now slowly his arms weren't working. aang tryed to pull him self up in his bed but it was getting hard to move his arms.With katara's help katara helped aang up in his bed. aang thanked her. Katara couldn't look at aang without almost crying. she got up and cooked breakfast. toph helped her, which was a suprise. after everyone finshed their breakfast Katara went outside for some freash air. she was struggling with what was going on. she thought over and over in her head of what sokka told her. she thought about it last night that she didn't get any sleep. so if she did have this power how does she use it? how does she save aang?and if it was to late would she know what to do next? making her think all of this made her start to cry.

she wanted to cry at breakfast this moring. she had to help aang feed himself, his arms didn't work anymore. what would be next his heart? with that thought she started to cry again. after a while she got up wiped away her tears and went inside. she had a terrible felling inside her she could fell something terrible was going to happen. and she knew what it was going to be........ tonight aang was going to die, and she couldn't do anyting about it.unless she knew how to use her powers. but how would that be possiable?

toph walked over to Katara and told her ''he's going to die tonight i can feel it.''Katara's eyes looked like glass, with water on it. aang called for Katara, she came running over to him.


katara: what aang? she siad with a soft,sweet voice

aang: i don't feel so good

Katara; it's going to be ok

she then hugged him, but he couldn't hug her back his arms still....didn't......work.

Knowing that any min. he could die she kissed aang. he kissed back, luckly his lips still worked.aang looked happy. saying '' Katara i know this might not be a great time to say this,but i love you''then thats all he said. his eyes closed and his head fell back and it hit the back board to his bed. tears falling from Katara's eyes she wispered back ''i love you too.'' she knew what to do. even if that ment giving up her life.

the moon outside was full and bright Katara looked at aang. she put her hand over him, tears rolling off her face. then it happened like in slow motion her eyes turned that royal blue color, you could still see tears rolling down off her chin, or down her neck. by now sokka and toph were around aang. if you looked carefully you could see tears from both sokka and toph.

Katara's face looked calm her eyes glowing her hand over his chest the other hand holding his hand. it was working aang body was glowing and he started to open his eyes. then it was over Katara came back to the real world and lokked at aang and aaang looked at her then kissed. she was over joyed that he was alive. and so were the others. now the problem was Katara to live. the two got up Katara was stuggling to get up with all her effert, and energy to get up she couldn't get up.

Katara started to fall but aang caught her. her eyes were closed aang tryed to help her but she wasn't ''waking up.'' she gave her life to save aang's. everyone in the room were all crying. toph then relizied that sokka was a desendent too. he might not be a great''bender'' but he still had the power. toph nugged sokka telling him what she found out. so sokka went over to his sister and but his hand on her head. with tears rolling down his face he said softly''Katara please wake up, i love you sis don't go now, we need you, all of us, we all need you'' then aang put katara on the bed,he then held her hands.Not knowing what was going to happen.

because sokka was also had the 'power', Katara opened her eyes. sokka was going to die because of this act, because he was a male. only the ''powerful bender'' would die. so all was good. Katara got up then again Katara and aang shared a kiss. they were both so scared they were both going to die but that time had pass. While they were kissing toph looked at sokka. without a warning toph then kissed sokka, he kissed back to. everyone was happy no one was going to die any more.


After kissing aang she knew what she also had to do. she got out of the house after telling where she was going she ran to the library. she went inside got the book that toph and her read. she then took out a ''pen'' or whatever they write with. she then wrote in the book ''love is more powerful than any death''

The beginning of the story was a little sloppy but the ending made up for it without a doubt.
I could tell that you were getting better as the story went along and that's a good sign. Keep
