My first fan fic, so don't be too hard on me if I made a mistake

I could feel them working, student and master. I could also feel the heat of their work. And the racing pulse of the water-bender sitting next to me.
“How’s he looking?” I asked.
“Aang’s doing great. He always was a quick learner,” she answered.
“That’s not what I meant,” I giggled. “I was talking about a certain shirtless fire-bending prince you’ve been staring at since they started, what, last week?”
“What?” yelped Katara. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she stuttered.
“I may be blind, but that doesn’t mean I can’t see. Well, figuratively, at least. Do try to remember, I can tell when you’re lying.”
“Then you know I’m telling the truth when I say I don’t like Zuko!” she hissed.
“Lie,” I coughed.
“Oh, come on! I would know if I liked him! And I don’t!”
“Another lie,” I coughed again, a smirk breaking out on my face.
“What’s Katara lying about now?” asked Sokka, coming up from behind.
“Don’t you dare,” she snarled at me.
“Oh, whatcha gonna do?” I grinned.
“You don’t even want to know what I would do,” she snapped.
“Oh, yes, I do. She was lying about staring at Zuko,” I giggled.
“What?” yelped Sokka, dropping whatever it was he had been holding.
“I wasn’t staring at Zuko!” Katara cried exasperated. She clapped a hand over her mouth as the boys stopped their bending and turned around to face us. “Oh dear, that was really loud, wasn’t it?” she groaned.
“Yep,” I grinned.
“You’re kidding right?” yelped Sokka. I just grinned and ran, bracing myself for the splash of water I knew was coming. And, boy, did it come.
“Get back here,” shrieked Katara, giggling as she ran, flinging water from the fountain.
“Bring it on, sugar queen!” I cried. The dirt beneath me had turned to mud. I flipped it up into her face. Pretty soon, we were both completely covered in mud.
We fellt o the ground in a fit of giggles. “Truce?” I wheezed, holding out a hand.
“Truce,” she responded, taking my hand. I heard Aang turn to Zuko and say, “Girls, I’ll never understand them,” before going back to work.

There ya go! Please comment, and if you want me to write about something, I will. Unless it's Kataang. Conflict of interests, I'd completely screw it up ;D
