whew! am I ever tired! it's near 12:30 where I am and I'm still awake! oh well. Here's your Avatar Fight Club dosage for today. Oh, and it's a little more graphic than usual towards the ending--even more so than the first one. You have been warned.
ROUND 4: KATARA VS. SOKKA I had only had a one-round hiatus, yet here I was back on the battlefield. I was wondering who I would be facing today. I knew who the contenders were, and I knew that it was probably not Ozai. Sokka was jealous because I had already been brought out twice and he hadn’t been brought out at all. However, my world was about to change completely. “Today,” 253 shouted, “Katara will face someone she loves dearly,” “Aang or Zuko,” were my first thoughts, but I refused to tell my fan-base which one I liked more because I like to torment them like that. “She will face none other than,” 253 continued, “Sokka!” My heart stopped. They expected me to kill my own brother? I wondered how Sokka felt at this time. He sure didn’t look as worried as I did. Maybe because he loved me and was going to expect the worst—something I would be force to give.
I walked out onto the battlefield. My heart reversed its flow when I saw who I was facing. Posed in a killing stance a few yards away from me, was my sister. However, I could tell that she looked worried. She probably figured that she would totally clobber me. With that thought in mind, I was a little more laid-back, because I figured that Katara cared for me too much to go her hardest on me. Besides, I had my trusty boomerang, and with it came a simple, but deadly accurate move which was a favorite of mine. I called it “impale” because that’s what I did. Now, I’m not sure about this, having never been a victim of it, but begin impaled by a razor-sharp boomerang bent into your gut doesn’t sound too peaceful to me, so I figured it would be an effective killing move. “Will both fighters please take their positions?” I heard 253 say, and we both obediently took our positions, both poised and ready to attack. Katara was already pulling out water, and I had my club in one hand, and my boomerang in the other.
I had no choice but to feel sorry for Sokka, as he didn’t even have his sword with him. My biggest concern was his boomerang. This proved to be the proper concern, as he had me dancing against it. “Dance, Katara, dance,” I heard him leer at me. It seemed that he was actually getting into the fight. “Very well then, Sokka,” I thought to myself, “If it was a fight he wanted, it was a fight he was going to get.” The crowds actually began laughing as our fight proceeded, most likely because we looked a lot like we were dancing; and brother and sister dancing was, well... not something I was too interested in. I made Sokka lose his grace by sending ice beneath his feet. To my surprise, he kept his footing for a little while, but then stumbled. He slid towards me on his back, and knocked one of my legs with his club, causing me to give way. The sibling rivalry was beginning to intensify.
After I saw Katara falter, I took this as a chance to successfully cut her forehead open with my boomerang. After catching it and clubbing the ice beneath my feet, thus shattering it, I stood my ground, awaiting Katara’s wrath. For a split second, I actually thought she was going to have mercy. To my pleasure (for my pride’s sake) she didn’t. She came at me full force, and I felt myself getting lashed about by the cutting edges of Katara’s water. I pretended to fall down, because I had used some of my ‘superior’ logic to deduct something from Katara. She would likely try to stun me, and slip in a quick recovery for herself with her little vial of spirit water. Surprisingly, I was right. However, since I had fallen, I was in a position I wanted to be, so slitting Katara’s right hand became reality. I jumped up, my club now in hand, and headed straight for Katara. It was not time for a finisher yet, but if I could lower her strength enough, I figured the opportunity would make itself available.
Sokka was really beating on me now. I had nowhere to turn. My main hand was disabled, and I couldn’t possibly heal myself fast enough with the speed of my brother’s attacks. If I resigned though, I would not only lose the match, but also be permanently kicked out of the Fight Club. Something in the back of my head was telling me that the fight Club was everything, so I remained. I suddenly spewed a huge ice wave over Sokka that made him not only slow down, but also lose his footing—on the edge of the platform. Sokka tumbled off and disappeared. Now I used this opportunity to heal myself with whatever spirit water I had left. The first wound I went for was on my chest, and then on my hand. “And Sokka is OUT!” I heard the announcer shout, but then a little girl that I recognized as the same little blind firebender came up to him and said something, and then pointed down. “Sweet Mother of Tera,” 253 exclaimed, “Sokka is CLIMBING THE WALL!” I looked down and to my horror, he was already nearly up. I would have attacked him, but I was too weak at the moment. Therefore, I used this time to heal myself.
I had scaled a majority of the wall by nailing my boomerang into the wall with one hand, and my club for the other. I jumped back up onto the stage, smiling triumphantly. “Did anyone miss me?” I asked, and saw my sister using the finishing move of her healing process on her chest. What she didn’t realize was that she would need a much larger healing remedy than that. With one swift movement, I was in the air, and on the warpath—right towards my sister.
I managed to dodge Sokka’s would-be fatal blow, and managed to get him into my constricting trap. The fate of the battle had just switched sides. I was slightly uneasy thought because he was pretty close to me. I soon learned why. Sokka had just made all my healing motions on my chest a huge waste of time. I looked down to see half of his boomerang sticking out of my gut. Sokka, now with a lust of blood in his eyes, wrenched it upwards, thus jamming the other half into my gut. He had just killed me as I was about to kill him. Once again, the fate of the battle had switched sides. This time, I was the one dying. Sokka had triumphed.
I grinned menacingly as I ripped my now red boomerang out of my sisters chest, splattering blood everywhere. I was fine though, since I had conquered. Besides, if they are willing to revive power-hungry fools like Ozai, they’d revive my sister. In fact, there was that little blind firebender and her waterbending friend picking up what remained of my sister already. “And so,” 253 announced, “after a… rather bloody and violent struggle, Sokka gives Katara a 1-1 record! Of course, that’s not a bad record considering how long we’ve been doing this, but hey, it’s not for me to decide. Sokka wins the match!” I ignored any pains that Katara had given me (including the fact that she had frozen part of my arm off) and grinned. I had won my first Avatar Fight Club tournament.
So yeah. Enjoy, I guess while I enjoy some blissful slumber. STANDINGS: Aang: 0-0 Katara: 1-1 Sokka: 1-0 Toph: 0-0 Zuko: 0-1 Iroh: 0-0 Azula: 0-1 Ty Lee: 2-0 Mai: 0-0 Ozai: 0-1
So, whadya think? ~Katara~

Alright! Chapter 5 is up with the first guest star making an appearance.
Name: Sanaki Age: 13 (Female) Height: 4' 7" Weight: 74 Hair: Black, loose, and wavy Eyes: Milky white (denotes blindness) Skin: tan, but lighter than a waterbender Clothes: ratty, baggy red clothes that are slightly big on her, and a headband which she sometimes wears over her eyes; she is barefoot Personality: arrogant, rude, frank, has a vast sense of humor, and is not afraid to be gross in public. Abilities: a very swift master firebender. However, she is blind. To see, she senses the different heat levels of her surroundings.
So, enough said about Sanaki for the time (to see the real deal check the RPG account thread) here's the story!
ROUND 5: LONG FENG VS. SANAKI
“Ladies and gentlemen,” 253 called out, “we now return again to the Avatar Fight Club! This fight consists of 2 newcomers. First up, we have Long Feng, head of the Dai Li Secret Police. Being a very skilled earthbender, he will certainly add some challenge to the game.” After hearing my name, I made the entire arena rumble as I came crashing out onto the arena. I scanned my surroundings, and noticed the in the audience were people of all nationalities. I noticed a rather empty spot where a strange waterbender sat alone. It was strange—usually that little firebender was with her. I continued to wait for the 2nd fighter, my opponent, to be announced. I was half-hoping that it would be that one blind girl, so I could show her who the better earthbender was. “Our other competitor is one who has never before seen competition. This of course is, because she cannot see anything. That’s right, folks. Long Feng is facing a blind opponent!” From what I head in the crowds, I figured that it would be Toph. Why wasn’t 253 saying her name though? “Similarly, one of the Avatar Fight Club Staff members left us today to join the competition. Long Feng’s competitor is none other than Sanaki Li-Chan: our little blind firebending friend!” To my surprise, the crowd sent wild. I was almost insulted. However, any sign of such was hidden, because I remember the fight that the Fire Lord had had. I couldn’t believe that they’d pit me against such an inferior foe. I was not only fighting a girl, but a blind girl, and one that was still a little kid. However, I had seen some of her prowess, and knew that if provoked, she could be deadly.
I stepped onto the battlefield. I held out my hand to sense the difference in heat, and located my opponent right away. I lifted my headband up onto my forehead, so it was no longer covering my eyes. Despite my fear of what my eyes looked like, I was going to fight with them showing. My opponent, who 253 said was called Long Feng, was well over a foot taller than me. However, size isn’t everything. The most powerful and awesome benders came in small sizes—like me. I had a c0cky, indifferent attitude, and was not afraid to be ‘gross’ as others called it. I belched loudly as I made my appearance, and then laughed afterwards. “The fight may commence,” 253 announced, “And may the best of the newcomers win!”
This was all I needed to hear. Within the next 0.75 seconds, I had surrounded myself with earth, pinned Sanaki down, and had nailed her with a huge rock as my casing split off and went in 8 different directions. She may have been fast, but I knew that her tiny frame wasn’t very durable, especially considering her age. I didn’t even care if she was blind. Anyone stupid enough to challenge me deserved to die. I began shaking the ground and kicking rocks at Sanaki, but, even though down, she was able to avoid most of them. I finally hit her and sent her reeling towards the corner of the field. I paused to see what she was doing. It appeared that she was hiccupping or gasping for breath. I was going to use this opportunity to give her a little more pain. I bent a mass of rock right underneath Sanaki’s chin, which hit her right where I wanted it to. It also made her buckle and split her forehead open upon the selfsame rock. I had broken her chin. She stood up, blood splattered all over her face and glared at me. Actually, she wasn’t even glaring at me, she was a few inches off to the right, and I wanted to know: why wasn’t she even trying to attack me?
I stood up, and massaged my chin. Suddenly, my war cry was answered. I let out a huge belch (which was why I was hiccupping earlier), scratched my armpit, and was ready to roll. I had learned earlier in my life that the more damaged I got, the more I was capable of doing—it gave me some sort of untapped power. I decided to show this guy that fire beats earth—along with any other element.
I was glad that I wasn’t the only one surprised when they saw Sanaki attack me. She may have been small and weak, but, (although I’m not keen on admitting it) she was extremely fast. “And Sanaki goes wild!” I heard the announcer say, “mother of Tera, she’s throwing out over 282 attacks per minute!” I decided to take the defensive, which proved worthy. She came at me like some sort of rabid creature, and I was prepared for this. Little kids don’t know how to contain their skills at this age, and they often abuse them. Oh well, it was time to teach her a lesson.
My attacks were short and quick. I was coming at him full force, and the arena began heating up. This was my environment, and this was why I was disregarding accuracy and just trying to get some motion going, and it was working. His defenses were good I will admit, but I was beginning to overrun him. I had very little stamina and strength in general, but that was because I was only 13, I was a girl, and I never felt a need to try and build up my body. I figured that my stamina and strength were better used for firebending. When I was firebending, which was what I literally lived for, I had more stamina than I could imagine.
My defenses broke all of a sudden. Now, I was at the mercy of this maniac and her firebending. I made a mental note to tell Azula the next time I saw her that her attacks were really slow compared to what I was going through right now. I felt as if I was in the very pits of the Fire Nation, and Sanaki was aware of this. She had waited for a subtle moment, and then came upon me with overwhelming force. As my life was draining out of me, I wondered not only how a 13-year-old kid had beaten a fully trained Dai Li officer such as myself, and how anyone could attack that fast.
I did not want Long Feng to notice, but I was weakening as well. He was a durable fellow, and my short swift attacks merely kept him pinned. I readied my finisher, which was a fiery letter ‘X’ and hit him dead on. However, apparently he did not want to go without a fight. As he fell, he sent a huge wall of earth at me. I didn’t notice it, but he had died right after launching this wall. However, I had nowhere to run. I jumped onto my hands and flared up my bare feet, which had actually been doing most of my attacking as opposed to my hands. I had seriously been all over the place when I was attacking. “Ladies and gentlemen,” said 253 as the wall of earth crumbled over me and all the audience could see was my head poking out from the rubble, “Our little friend Sanaki has won the match! However, since she was part of the Fight Club Crew, it may be a little longer than usual before you see another previous losing competitor.” To my pleasure, the crowds did not seem too concerned about it. I could feel that all eyes were on me, and so I broke out of the rubble, and burned my name into the center of the arena. I didn’t realize this until afterwards, but Long Feng had broken all 4 of my limbs when he had launched the rock wall at me. Oh well, you live and learn.
2 New Characters added to the roster: STANDINGS: Aang: 0-0 Katara: 1-1 Sokka: 1-0 Toph: 0-0 Sanaki: 1-0 Zuko: 0-1 Iroh: 0-0 Azula: 0-1 Ty Lee: 2-0 Mai: 0-0 Ozai: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1
So, whadya think? ~Katara~

Alrighty, I got round 6 up! However, I would like people to post some suggestions for later battles. I always enjoy that. and so...
ROUND 6: SOKKA VS. MAI I couldn’t believe that I was already back. Sanaki may have been in terrible condition, but that had not stopped the little firebender from being involved in the healing of my arm. I wasn’t sure what she did, but she was beside her waterbender friend the entire time. Anyways, I was back on the field, boomerang and club in hand. I waited for the announcer to call out my name before I raced out to the battlefield to hear the roaring crowds. One thing I had noticed was that the battlefield changed slightly to suit the people fighting on it. From sampling I had done, I learned that the arena, particularly the corners, was much harder than usual when an earthbender was present, and in the corners there would be fire or water if a firebender or a waterbender were present. As for Air I didn’t know, since an airbender has yet to fight in the Avatar Fight Club. However, this time, the battlefield looked completely normal. I was fighting a non-bender, I knew that much, but I didn’t know who. “As some of the more observant ones may have noticed,” 253 announced, “Sokka will be fighting someone who does not bend. However, not to insult benders, being one myself, but there are people out there that are lethal with the right kind of weapons in their hands. Sokka today will face none other than the ninja of the Fire Nation: Mai!”
I calmly strode out to the battlefield. I still don’t recall how I got dragged into this, but if they wanted me to fight, and, in this case kill Sokka, then so be it. I shrugged off the roaring crowds, and did not turn back I faced Sokka, my hands inside my tunic. Beneath it was my endless supply of throwing knives, ninja stars, and other small, concealable blade-like weapons. Additionally, unless someone stole them, I also for some reason had a pair of nunchucks as well. “The battle may commence!” 253 shouted, and that was good enough for Sokka I guess. I merely yawned. This wasn’t very amusing, but to me, there was little that was. I shrugged it off as a bad day, and whipped out sets of blades between my fingers. Without even moving my feet, I launched them at him, but he countered them with his boomerang, which was now on a path straight for my chest. He was already trying a killing move. Foolish he was, but he knew how to fight with the exception of when to use a killer. My killing move was short and to-the-point. A simple dagger to the throat combined with a slice had earned it the name “The Throat Slitter”. It seemed logical; nonetheless Sokka and I continued fighting.
“Man,” I thought, as another throw of my boomerang deflected one of Mai’s throwing knives, “half of her body mass is in knives and ninja stars!” I swooped around her, and landed a hit in her shoulder with my club. I pointed, and shouted: “HA!” This was a big mistake. Her immediate retaliation consisted of 3 words. By words, I meant ninja stars. One of them hit me in the leg, another hit me a few inches shy of my heart, and the 3rd one missed me. However, I figured I could put a couple of these to use as a distraction agent. I knew I was no blade-thrower, but I knew that if I threw them at her in any way, she would block them. I presumed correctly. I threw 2 of them, simultaneously, and then the 3rd, followed by my boomerang. She was busy blocking the first 2, and then the third, to avoid ‘boomerang’. After all, this boomerang was by all means, my best friend, and I would cherish it always.
Our movements and sidesteps were swift. Nothing like Ty Lee’s of course, but that dizzy, happy go-lucky circus freak lived a life of speed and freedom, so I didn’t mind the slow pace. Calmly fighting back was my way of relaxing. I didn’t mind a little pain, such a thing happened to everyone. A whack to the head told me that I needed to pay more attention, since I was knocked to the floor. As Sokka launched his boomerang at me again, I decided that instead of try to deflect it, I would divert its course so that it would ‘return’ to Sokka, just at the wrong angle. Using my nunchucks, which it turned out I indeed had, I swung one at the approaching boomerang and diverted it around 90 degrees, so it landed far away from Sokka’s hand. I knew he would try to get it, and so as he did, I assisted him with a barrage of blades. My source was rapidly diminishing, but I didn’t care. I would always have enough for a fight.
I took a few blades of unknown varieties to my back, but I had gotten my boomerang back. I launched it at Mai without even turning around, only to see that she deflected it. I consequently abandoned all precepts and threw my club at her. It was a little over a foot shy of her head, which was my original target, but it knocked her off her feet as it took the wind out of her. I dashed towards her, yelling “SNEAK ATTACK!” I knew it was by no means a sneak attack, but it amused the crowds, which raised my spirits.
The crowds were laughing a little. I admit, it was a rather childish joke with a little humor, but it wasn’t enough for me to crack. There was only one thing capable of making me actually laugh, but that’s not relevant—the fight is. I was on my knees, a knife hidden up my sleeve. As Sokka approached for his attack, I flipped behind him, my dagger in my hand. My dagger met his neck, and the fell swipe came soon after.
I knew she had gotten me. Nonetheless, since Mai was always bored with such things, she didn’t try to hurt me any further, because she knew that I was dead, and I knew it too. IT didn’t strike me as hard as it should have—that I was dying, but that was probably because of that little firebender and her waterbender friend. I knew they could and would heal me. They always did, even though Sanaki had just been a fighter in the previous round. She was not bound like I figured she would be after breaking all of her limbs, but she was limping very heavily. I saw he approach me as my eyes finally shut for the last time in this match...
So I had won; big deal. It’s not like we got a new fire lord or anything. I mumbled through all of 253’s congratulatory announcements, and then looked up at the board, as I saw my name move up in the ranks. I actually cracked a very small, subtle smile. I made sure that no one had seen me, and then I began massaging my wounds. I was breathing heavily. I will admit that the Avatar Fight Club changed me in the slightest—it wasn’t too bad, especially after winning. I decided to stay here with the other fighters, to see if I could get even more action.
Once again, I'll still take guest stars. STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 2-0 Mai: 1-0 Sanaki: 1-0 Sokka: 1-1 Katara: 1-1 Toph: 0-0 Iroh: 0-0 Aang: 0-0 Zuko: 0-1 Azula: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Ozai: 0-1
So, whadya think? ~Katara~

okay, I should probably be getting to bed if I don't want a repeat of last night. Oh well, I might; I might not. I've noticed that these fights usually end up with a dead loser and a severely handicapped winner. This isn't bad, is it?
ROUND 7: AANG VS. TOPH I walked out onto the battlefield to hear the crowds going wild and chanting something about the avatar. I grinned sheepishly. Sokka had previously told me that if I observed the battlefield, I could tell a little bit about my opponent. I walked over to one of the corners and noticed that there was wind. That was for me, an airbender. I also noticed that this corner (along with the other 3 I presumed) was harder than it usually was which meant that I was fighting an earthbender. I hoped it was Toph, not because I held anything against her, but because I could make the battle quick by simply knocking her out of the ring. She couldn’t see airbenders, which I was definitely going to use to my advantage. However, it could be Long Feng, or another earthbender. I was thinking too far ahead. Actually, my prediction was right. “Challenging the avatar today,” said 253, “is none other than your favorite, Toph Bei Fong, AKA the Blind Bandit!” I grinned. This would likely be an easy fight after all.
I stepped onto the field, angered by what I had just heard. I was fighting twinkle toes? This meant that I’d have to defend myself like crazy and stay as close to the middle of the field as possible, otherwise he would knock me off like he had during Earth Rumble. Of course, the officials hadn’t counted that as a loss towards me because they thought I threw the fight. I encouraged this story and never went into further detail about it to anyone besides my friends who knew about it. However, in the Avatar Fight Club, there was no distinction between friends and foes. Everyone here was an enemy. I heard the announcer officiate the start of the duel, and I braced myself for an onslaught of aerial attacks. It was a good thing I did. Aang was merciless. I spent my time dodging around his attacks, which, though from the air, were not just air. He was launching fire at me mostly, but also water, and even earth, when he would occasionally swoop down in order to bend it. I figured though, that no flying creature, no matter how mighty could withstand a great rock landing on top of them. I stomped my foot, sending a huge column of earth upwards. A few seconds later, the top of my column blew off, and a rock came and hit Aang smack-down. I heard him yell, and I grinned.
Toph certainly was one who was a master not only at earthbending, but also at taunting and mockery. However, I figured that if she was going to fight ‘dirty’ with me, I was going to fight ‘airy’ with her. I did something I never figured I would do: I jumped back on my glider, swooped down and snatched up Toph. She was lighter than I expected her to be, and she was helpless against the grip of the avatar. “He’s going straight up,” 253 exclaimed, “this is definitely unorthodox, but Aang obviously knows Toph’s weakness and is exploiting it to the fullest. Aang may not even need to use his Avatar rage for a finishing move this time, folks. Toph might be a goner.”
I knew what was happening as we began ascending to what I assumed were absurdly huge heights. I was literally kicking, screaming and struggling to get free, but Aang had pinned me in such a way that I couldn’t. Unlike the earth rumble arena, this one had no roof, so the sky was his limit. I was feeling dizzy and sick from the ascent. I was not only mortally frightened, but also weaker the farther away I was from the good hard ground. I was also truly blind up here. I was awaiting my death miles below, smeared against the battlefield when he dropped me.
I said nothing, but I figured that this height was good enough. It actually was only about 150 feet up, but I had used airbending to make it seem like we were going much faster than we really were, and Toph, being completely blind up here, had no clue. I grinned as my fingers released her from my grasp and she tumbled head over heels back down to the ground. It was a split-second after that that I figured that she would survive. “Oh well” I thought, “I’ll just finish her down there
I was screaming louder than I had ever screamed in my life. Never before had I been this mortally afraid. Within 10 seconds of being dropped, I had slammed back down against the battlefield. I felt my body split open in some places, and I could feel myself bleeding against the unforgiving stone. I had to act quickly if I wanted to stay alive, but I was completely paralyzed at the moment. I had hit my head pretty hard, and I could feel the fluid in my ears rattling around. I couldn’t see anything anyways, so trying to focus was not necessary. Within 30 seconds, I had regained use of my right arm. It was heavily damaged, but a usable damaged arm beats an unusable unhurt arm any day. I heard Aang land, and this was his biggest mistake. I mustered all my strength and did not even life my head up. Using the superhuman strength I had while in contact with my affinitive element, I punched the ground with colossal force. Everything except for the area that I had dented with my worn and ragged body had just fallen into the abyss. Aang’s remaining time was now whittled down to how long he could stay in the air. She had cut off nearly all of my methods of escape. I was mad at myself now for not letting go of my love for Katara, for that was what stopped me from entering the avatar state at will. If I could have done that, I would have been able to annihilate Toph without effort. I figured the only thing to do was to try and land on top of her and knock her off. She was paralyzed except for her right arm. There was nothing she could do to stop me.
I laughed to myself. Aang, now clinging to one of the side walls, had let me detect him. He was going to try and knock me off. This would be the perfect time for me to try out “The Gut Crusher”, my killing move when he passed by. I subtly moved my right arm to the edge of my tiny crag so I could just grab a chunk of rock and throw it.
I learned later that I had fallen into her trap by trying to go straight at her. I should have just stuck with the ranged attacks, since she couldn’t move. It’s amazing how the lust of winning will blind you. I went right for her, but with her one working limb, Toph broke a huge chuck of rock out of her cliff and threw it. It pinned me against the wall and lodged itself it my cut, thus crushing me. I was still intact, but I could feel fatal internal damage. I had lost, similar to a way Zuko had supposedly lost against Toph a long time ago.
I had the courtesy to earthbend a tiny cliff out for Aang as to catch his fall. It worked. I heard a rumbling, and suddenly felt the arena return. I was unable to move save twitch my bare feet slightly and move the fingers in my left hand. But at the moment, it was worth being where I was, because I had just won the match. I had never expected to win a match against an airbender, let alone the avatar...

Really, really good.
I love the part where Aang picks Toph up, that would so freak her out, and p*ss her off.
Another awesome instalment.
Probably should get some sleep though.
It can be tiring making violent works of art like this. ;D
9.75/10 (Because I barely ever give a perfect score)
