Alright! another one. Sanaki returns! this one has a rather interesting ending, and it may imply something that I might do in the near future--it may not.
ROUND 8: ZUKO VS. SANAKI I was back on the battlefield despite my humiliating loss to Katara. The only reason it was humiliating was because I thought it was. Everyone had congratulated me on the fight after I came around, telling me I had done well. I figured that my performance was indeed halfway decent, but that was then, and this was now. I looked at my surroundings. Sokka had made a discovery which had leaked to all the fighters: the arena would change slightly depending on who was fighting. I saw fire for myself: Zuko, but I could see no sign of any other element. I presumed I was fighting a non-bender, since Azula had had lightning. It was either that, or maybe another firebender. I was about to find out. “And,” the announcer called, “back already despite having broken all 4 of her limbs in her last match against Long Feng: Sanaki Li Chan is our 2nd competitor! Once she steps out and has a word, the fight will begin!” “Sanaki,” I thought, but was unable to piece the name together with anyone. Suddenly, a huge flash of flame shot past me, missing me by about 3 feet. I looked over and saw a little girl—it was that little blind firebender again. I seriously thought that she was biting off more than she could chew when she had decided to join this fight, but then again, she had beaten the head of the Dai Li. However, I could not lose.
“So” I said as I strode onto the stage again, taking a deep breath, “This round of Avatar Fight Club was about to become an Agni Kai? This should be interesting.” My firebending style though, was unique as it included a lot more defensive moves than firebending normally should. This may have been because I taught myself, but that didn’t matter. If any type of fighting involved firebending, I knew how to do it. I heard 253 announce the commencing of the match, and I noticed Zuko sending out attacks that were missing me on purpose. Something was telling me that he was trying to see if I was blind. He actually was, and he soon learned. He also seemed to have a second intention in mind, but I couldn’t quite interpret it. Oh well, I figured that with my small size and swift reflexes and general speed, I could keep her off-guard.
I slowly began circling this little girl, almost feeling guilty for going up against such a little child. She was following me, but was a few degrees off of where I was each time. She really was blind, but she was following my fire. I stopped bending, and noticed that she reacted slower. She still hadn’t moved. I decided to stop giving sympathy to the little firebender, and so I launched a huge, aggressive fireball straight at her, catching her off guard. She was knocked off the platform, but what she did next was unbelievable. I raced to the edge and saw her surrounded with flames. Suddenly, she was shooting up at me before landing gently back on her feet. I managed to dodge the attack, and realized that there was no need for sympathy.
I figured that if he was going to go nice on me, that I’d teach him how to fight dirty. Of course, I liked saying that since I hadn’t bathed in ages (keeping clean was not a typical habit in my life), but I had enough a reputation to the point of being feared by some of the weaker people. I decided to go a little ballistic like I did with Long Feng. I was waiting for the right moment to strike though. My best technique was subtle waiting, and then striking with overwhelming force. Of course, if I waited too long I would be defeated and that couldn’t happen. I shot a quick fireball to provoke him, since I knew he was easily angered.
Not only was I mad about being hit, but also that she somehow knew that I was easily angered. Oh well; firebending can be fueled by anger. Therefore, I shot towards her and engulfed her in flames. I began swinging my arms madly as if I was cutting her in the flames. I could hear her screaming, but I didn’t care.
I wasn’t screaming in pain, I was screaming in deceit. I suddenly flipped out of the fire, using the flames that would otherwise consume me to my advantage. I knew that he didn’t stand a chance after I first sensed him and who he was. He was a bit too angst-y around this current time, and I was going to use it to my advantage. I was on him like flames are to oil. I decided, however, to play his mind a little bit. I created a fiery ‘X’ as if I was going to finish him, and this made Zuko fight harder to escape from me. He did, but that was all part of the plan.
I decided that since there was extra fire in each of the four corners that I would put it to use. I bended all four flames towards where Sanaki was standing and had them collide. To my surprise, Sanaki had dodged the attack. Not only was she an incredibly fast attacker, but she was also in lightning-fast defender with light-speed reflexes. I knew however, that her body was small and weak, because judging from a frame that size, it almost had to be. Of course, if I was wrong, then I was in trouble, but I risked it anyways. I began throwing lightning at her. The area around us darkened and I could no longer see Sanaki. As a result I backed towards the edge of the arena.
I was surrounded by lightning, and much of it was hitting me. However, I was using some of that energy to power up my next attack. The heat around me not only powered me up, but it was also handicapping me—I couldn’t locate Zuko either—or anything for that matter. I did lower my headband over my eyes briefly, and then felt the lightning clear, so I raised it back up. No longer was I afraid to hide my eyes. Those who looked upon them would see defeat anyways.
After my lightning subsided, I was in for a nasty surprise. A ragged and beaten-up looking Sanaki was grinning at me, an enormous fireball in her right hand. “Wanna play?” she asked me, before turning it into a huge ‘X’ and firing it at me. I knew what my mistake now was. I should not have walked into the corner. I scrambled behind the torch that held the fire, but Sanaki’s fireball paid no heed to that, and it took us both out. I was rigid, and fell backwards motionless. I had lost again. This fight, however, was interesting, and I had actually enjoyed it. I could barely see Sanaki out of my failing eyes. “You did well,” I told her weakly, and I saw her smile, “You weren’t half bad either,” she admitted bluntly, and that was the last thing I remember before dying.
“Sanaki has done it again!” 253 announced, and I grinned weakly. Zuko had left some considerable marks on me, but it wasn’t as bad as what Long Feng had done. What I realized back there was that a friendship was developing between Zuko and I, and that someone had to have great honor if they were humble enough to accept defeat. I had to hand it to him, he wasn’t half bad after all...
Don't worry. No one, not even Sanaki, can win them all... STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 2-0 Sanaki: 2-0 Mai: 1-0 Sokka: 1-1 Katara: 1-1 Toph: 0-0 Iroh: 0-0 Aang: 0-0 Azula: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Ozai: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2
still taking guest stars. Next up is Dre Yu in chapter 9.
So, whadya think? ~Katara~

whew! that was a HARD chapter to write. I don't know too much about the personalities of either of these two people, so bear with me if this chapter sucks more than the others. If it doesn't suck, then that's great! Oh, and for those who do not know who Dre Yu is, here's a little about him:
Name: Dre Yu Age: 18 (Male) Height: 7' 7" Weight: 200 Hair: dark black (mid-length Eyes: gold with a small ring of red in the middle Skin: Dark white Equpiment: a dragon bow (and arrows), and explosives Personality: Dre Yu is respectful, and in the fight club, is collected and willing to take a few risks. Abilities: can bend fire and lightning, but not nearly as fast as Sanaki. However, his moves pack much more punch. Other features: right arm covered in dragon scales, left arm has a scar running down, burn that is right above is right eye. anyways, yeah. As if I cared more about sleep than I do keeping to my word. Here you go. Enjoy, dangit!
ROUND 9: ZHAO VS. DRE YU I was pleased that I had been accepted into the Avatar Fight Club. Now it was time for the world to see me demonstrate who the more powerful bender was. There was no running away from this battle; whoever fought me would have nowhere to run. I really hoped that it would be the avatar. I had all power, and I was not going to let anything get in my way. “Stupid water tribe,” I thought as I awaited the announcer, a mysterious bender by the name of 253, to announce the name of my opponent. It seemed like forever, but (according to everyone else) wasn’t. “And now, Admiral Zhao’s opponent will make an appearance. This fellow is also a newcomer to the Fight Club. Ladies and gentlemen, also from the fire nation, please welcome Dre Yu!” I was a little taken back by the sheer magnitude of this guy. I could have sworn he was an earthbender in disguise. I looked around and noticed a little firebender looking down upon us from the stands. She was wearing a headband, which I recall was usually over her eyes. Now, however, I noticed that it wasn’t, and that her eyes were milky white—this little fellow was blind. Even if I lost, I was going to ask to fight her next time I was able to compete, but for now, I had to take care of this beast.
“So,” I thought to myself, “this is Admiral Zhao? I heard he was good. I wondered if Sanaki would stand her ground against him.” I looked and noticed that little Sanaki was sitting in the stands. I was seriously nearly twice his height, and I could hear Zhao talking about that. I scoffed. There was more to firebending than just firebending—or so I thought. That was my opinion though, and I said I’d blow the crap out of anyone who said otherwise. After all, my arsenal of attacks was rather wide, ranging from fire and lightning bending to a variety of explosives and archery techniques. “253,” I heard Sanaki shout, “start the freaking match already!” “My apologies,” 253 announced, “the match may begin!”
I had secretly been storing energy while I waited for the battle to start, so I had what some might call an unfair advantage over this Dre Yu for the time being. I began launching attacks, determined that I couldn’t lose to him. I had just heard that the announcer knew Dre Yu’s age, and that he was 18. I couldn’t lose to another kid—Zuko was bad enough. I began launching fireballs at him, backing up to keep him at bay. I figured that this was one of those burly brawlers who used their pure brute strength to knock down his foes.
I knew he thought I used brute strength, and I grinned slightly. I knew that he was wrong. I began shooting arrows at him with some speed, but I wasn’t very fast. Unlike Sanaki, the last ‘guest’ character to appear on the fight club (although I had heard rumors that she had been one of the main characters sine its formation), I was strong and slow instead of fast and weak. Zhao had a somewhat mindless fighting style—he was just shooting fireballs at me left and right, zooming swiftly and gracefully across the battlefield, but staying far enough away that I couldn’t retaliate. I decide to throw him off. I pulled out one of my explosives and launched it at him. It blew up part of the arena, knocking Zhao off his feet. I decided to put a little wrath towards him as I began loading lightning into this arrow—one of three. If I did it more than twice, I’d be unconscious, so this was a do-or-die operation. I figured that with my accuracy, I could probably make it fatal, but with his dodging in mind, I would have to be much more careful. I calmly pulled back my string, ducking from a huge wave of flame that actually singed some of my hair, aimed my bow, and let fly.
I saw a bolt of lightning come streaking towards me. I dove out of the way, and noticed that it was a lightning arrow. This guy had some strange moves up his sleeves—except he wasn’t wearing sleeves. After he had done this, he looked like he had weakened. I wanted to see if I could get him to do it again, so I repeated my annoying move set, hoping for similar results, but they never came. I did mange to prevent him from shooting me with a few regular arrows though thanks to my firebending, He staggered back, and I knew that this was the time for me to press forward. Similar to Ozai, I didn’t have one single killing move. I had a plethora of them which were at my disposal, and I planned to make good use of them in the near future. I launched a wave of fire from my hand, but apparently he had thrown one of his explosive devices, which knocked me off my feet. I quickly recovered and then surrounded him in flames. I laughed, for I supposed that I had nearly sealed my victory.
Of course, I bended the fire away from me, but apparently he had been expecting that. This guy was starting to bug me, and the temptation to try another lightning arrow was great. Eventually that temptation overpowered me, and I launched it. Again, to my displeasure, I missed. I resolved then and there that I would not do it again this fight, since I didn’t want to risk passing out and practically serving victory on a silver platter to Zhao.
Dre Yu was even weaker now, but I could not find an opening for me to seal my awaiting victory. Disappointment set in, but I could deal with that. He seemed to be taking more of a defensive, one of his little bomb things in his hand. Knowing the effect of those, I too became slightly more evasive, not wanting to get hit again with one. I dodged around, shooting fireballs as much as I could. He however, had a different plan. He launched the bomb, and then did something so risky I was surprised it worked. As I dodged, he had pulled out his bow with lightning speed, aimed an arrow at me, and then fired.
I was risking it all. If this last lightning arrow hit, I would win and Zhao would die. If not, then I would get killed and be unconscious while it happened. I let it fly and blacked out. I remembered no more.
As I dodged his bomb, I realized after the fact that I had dodged right into a fatal trap. It is usually mistakes like these that bring the loser down in this Fight Club, or so Iroh told me before I entered. I can’t say I took his advice back then, but I will admit now as I’m about to die that it would have been vital to have remembered that.
I woke up to 253 announcing my name as the winner. I saw Sanaki and her waterbending friend taking care of Zhao, and I waved. I had won my match in the Avatar Fight Club. Perhaps maybe that would increase my reputation and allow me to return a second time. Until then, I was pleased with myself for winning. After all, I mean, who wouldn’t be?
This chapter took me much longer than usual to write. I wonder if I'm okay... STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 2-0 Sanaki: 2-0 Toph: 1-0 Mai: 1-0 Dre Yu: 1-0 Sokka: 1-1 Katara: 1-1 Iroh: 0-0 Azula: 0-1 Aang: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Ozai: 0-1 Zhao: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2

yeah, I didn't lie. I actually had this one up yesterday, but I decided to wait for at least one comment before posting it. So, another piece of my sweat, blood and teras is about to be posted. enjoy...
ROUND 10: KATARA VS. TY LEE I strode out onto the battlefield as good as new. Looking at me, you would have never been able to tell that I had been impaled and had my guts ripped out by a razor-sharp boomerang. I grinned as the announcer called my name, and shortly after, this same announcer, 253, had announced the name of my competitor. “Today,” he said, “Katara will be challenging the 2-time winner and current Avatar Fight Club Champion: Ty Lee!” I was still mad at Ty Lee for various reasons, but I didn’t join the fight club to talk about my problems. I joined so I could beat the crap out of people with some of my demonic waterbending skills. I watched as Ty Lee cart wheeled out onto the field. Like with me, you would never have noticed that Ty Lee’s right arm had been broken and nearly ripped out by Fire Lord Ozai last time Ty Lee had made an appearance. Nonetheless, I looked around, becoming aware of the water that was in the four corners of the arena. Since Ty Lee didn’t bend, there was no element for her—except for the element of surprise. My biggest problem with Ty Lee was her happy go-lucky attitude. It was hard not to think people like this were annoying.
I heard the announcer say something about me being happy go-lucky, but I just laughed. So what if it was true? What was anyone going to do about it? After all, if it made them mad, it would only improve my game. Angry fighters do much poorer than calm ones. I heard the announcer call out for us to begin, and at once I knew what I wanted to do. Similar to something I had done on a few occasions to Katara, I had intentions of blocking off her bending abilities, but this time actually injuring her externally as well. I of course was armed only with the metal plates on my two fingers of each hand, which, compared to bending abilities, blades, or boomerangs, did not seem like much. I, however, knew different.
Ty Lee was as confusing as ever as she jumped and flipped all over the battlefield. I decided to do what I would call the anti-Sanaki: I froze the ground and watched the temperature of the air decrease due to my control of the moisture within it. AS far as Sanaki went, I personally held no grudge against the little firebender, but I heard that she was incredibly rude and gross, even more so than Toph and that thought may have disturbed me. Ty Lee meanwhile, was flipping in, jabbing at the air even though I was over 10 feet away at her. I think she was trying to intimidate me. I let out a sarcastic yawn. “Is that really the best you can do?” I heard her shout at me, and I had the perfect comeback.
“No,” I replied, “but THIS is most likely up there!” I had launched a jab at Katara’s right bicep, and had landed it. My other hand automatically went right towards her armpit, which but off her bending there for a while. As I flipped back as to avoid any sudden attacks, I noticed that not only was she holding her arm in pain, but was also bleeding. I was a more deadly foe than even I thought I was. Wasn’t that funny?
I was shocked, but I didn’t give up. I noticed that my dropping of the surrounding temperatures was taking its toll on Ty Lee. She seemed much less lively than before. “Hot enough for ya?” I taunted, and Ty Lee, apparently understanding, had a comeback to my misfortune. Out of nowhere, Ty lee came at me on her hands, and jabbed my other shoulder with her toes, killing my flow, and my temperature drops. I felt it slowly warming up again. Things were not looking good for me. Both my arms were disabled; therefore it looked like if I wanted to have any hope, I would have to try waterbending with my feet. If earthbenders and firebenders did it, why couldn’t I? I began sliding my feet around similar to how some earthbenders did, and I noticed that water still followed my orders. I grinned and made a whip that grabbed Ty Lee around the stomach. I was ready to constrict and crush her, but I didn’t, because I knew it wouldn’t work. Instead, I made her repeatedly fall down and knock her face against the floor a few times before she finally got out, jumped up, and directly into my newly formed pool of water. I didn’t go and see what she was doing, because when people do that, they always get attacks. Therefore, I waited—too long.
I popped in again out of nowhere, slid on my back underneath Katara and jabbed the backs of both her knees, causing them to buckle. She was now on her knees, but that did not stop her from using her last resort. Suing her mouth, she began bending with whatever she had left. I had to admit, Katara was resourceful. She was spewing an icy win at me, and since I had been sweating slightly from all the movement I had been doing, it froze, and I felt a huge loss of energy. I decided that this playfulness needed to end, and that I needed to kill her soon. Therefore, my new strategy went into effect—hopefully without a hitch.
I was moving and bending water with my mouth or with the twitching of my head. I captured Ty Lee’s arm, and then made her hit herself. If only it were a full moon, then I would have just used bloodbending, but, it wasn’t, so I do what I have to. “Stop hitting yourself, circus freak!” I leered, “stop hitting yourself!” she was stuck. My motions continued, but it was obviously not for a kill. Hitting ones self to death was not heard of—after all, what kind of idiot would do that? I figured that now, Katara did not just need to die, but she needed to suffer a bit before going. I slowly migrated towards her, still hitting myself. Suddenly, I flipped around and with the toes of my left foot, jabbed her in the neck with such force that I slit it like a knife would a throat. However, I must not have hit it exactly properly, because Katara was still breathing and alive.
I knew I was done for, so I figured I’d make the best of it. I was bleeding in several different places, and I couldn’t stand. I was amazed that I was still on my knees. Ty Lee actually hit me in my chest so hard that I began coughing up blood. She laughed, and then I saw it: her forefingers coming right at my forehead with the finishing blow. I braced myself as best I could by shutting my eyes. In a split-second, Ty Lee’s fingers connected, and I was gone and out.
Katara crumpled after my finishing stroke. Water was now oozing out of her body, and mixing with it was her blood, turning the water a quaint red color. Oh well, I had won—again. “Ty Lee is a beast!” 253 announced, “For she has done it again!” I didn’t hesitate, despite my injuries (and my left arm being broken somehow from hitting myself so swiftly and so much) to accept the cheers from the crowds. That little blind firebender and her older friend picked up Katara and took her wherever, but I didn’t care. Right now, it was all about me—here and now.
like 253 said: Ty Lee is a beast! STANDINGS: Ty Lee: 3-0 Sanaki: 2-0 Toph: 1-0 Mai: 1-0 Dre Yu: 1-0 Sokka: 1-1 Iroh: 0-0 Katara: 1-2 Azula: 0-1 Long Feng: 0-1 Aang: 0-1 Ozai: 0-1 Zhao: 0-1 Zuko: 0-2

COOL! These fights are awesome!! BTW I have a fight request: Ty Lee VS Iroh! That would be wicked.
I was also thinkinga about a move Zuko could have done to Sanaki when they fought. What if Zuko surrounded Sanaki with walls of fight, that was Sanaki couldn't feel Zuko's body heat. Then Zuko could some how walk around the walls of fire, behind Sanaki and burst out of the flames (while Sanaki still thinks that Zuko is in front of her) and slug her in the head, so that his tough fists will crack her weak skull, and burn her ALIVE!!! MWU HA HA HA ha ha, then blood will be everywhere!!........on bugger I think I'm caughting Tera253's lust for blood.
