This is another part to my fanfic. (part 2)Roku's advice
(part 3) Zuko's Struggle
Zuko looked down briefly to look at his legs. They would heal but they would need time and lots of it. Zuko look back up to thank Roku again but Roku had disappeared without any warning just as he appeared. Zuko looked around to see if there was anything he could use to help him get make to camp. Zuko knew he could crawl back if he had to but he did not want to be lower to such a condition. He saw near by tree branch that he could hit down and could use as a cane till he got back to camp. He also saw a river that flow lead toward the campsite.
Zuko fired a small fireball at the branch he saw before. What he did not expect was to see a reflection from a pair monkey eyes. At the last possibly second, zuko managed to divert the flame to avoid the branch. Zuko had to come up with a new way to get to the river that would take him back to the campsite. Zuko pushed off one of the rocks that had landed on him earlier, to push himself off so that he could reach his swords. Zuko took off the swords with its case still on and used them for the function that the branch was suppose to do for him. He barely managed to get to the very edge of the river then fell on his back. Zuko sat up and tied the swords back onto his back. He then rolled into the river.
Zuko floated down the river gently for what seemed liked hours because he was still tried ang hurting from all the training he has been doing lately. While he was floated he thought of what ruku had said. But not the advice he been giving, unlike his uncle who gave great advice but it was hard to understand what he meant by it sometimes. Zuko was thinking about the last thing he had said before leaving. What did he mean by “I will talk to her…”. Zuko did want that information to be known by everyone there. Zuko heard a voice he recognized. It was Azula’s voice he had heard.
Zuko didn’t you what to do. Zuko looked around in a panic and say a bush that seemed too able to hide him from Azula’s view. He swam to it under water with only his upper body strength. He came above water very slowly, careful not make a sound. Zuko grabbed on to the bush. He started to listen in to her conversation. Upon looking he saw two more faces that he knew well.
Azula, “So now that we know where the avatar’s camp is right now and that by the campsite setup, they plan on staying there for a while.”
Mai, “why do they always have to chose places that are so boring.”
Ty Lee, “ You have said about everything more often since zuko left.”
Azula, “ENOUGH, we will attack them this up coming morning”
