Yeah. You thought you were the last of your kind... and, on top of that, you thought you'd never have kids. And I know how much you wanted that...
It must have been hard, having what amounts to a "Father" trying to kill you, after all your family has already been killed...
It must have been hard, being mocked since birth...
And most of all, it must have been hard seeing so many happy people around you, when you felt that bad... I mean, when you first got here, I think I can understand why you didn't exactly "like" me... in fact, you intensely disliked me. I think it was because I was happy, and I was getting what you couldn't...
So yeah, you've had a hard life. But you managed to turn it around, and got everything you ever wanted... well, I assume it is, anyway...
