but what about wood??? does it belong to any element? Yeah, that's a good question. In other shows that deal with elements, wood is sometimes a standalone element. But in the case of ATLA, this is just my guess that either waterbenders, through plantbending, can manipulate wood, or earthbenders can learn how to bend wood (plz, no puns xD). I just guess that because waterbenders are able to draw water from other sources besides lakes, etc. As for earthbenders, IDK exactly, but it's vaguely related cuz of nature?

It's so interesting... this stuff of joining water with air, or with fire, or with earth, etc is cool. How can we do it in real life?
Anyway, at school people said wood is an element. I don't think it has anything to do with any other element. I'll guess it's related to earth... like metal.
