This is the first time anyone but my family has ever read my stories, so if I'm realy bad please tell me,thanks. The First Benders. The young moon was rising in its satiny arch over the northern water tribe. A small breeze blew over its members, as they stared with faces upturned toward there father. Benders and none benders alike stood elbow to elbow around the sacred lake, with no sound but of there icy breath. They were waiting for something. Suddenly a cry could be heard piercing through the sky like a dagger, and every member shifted there faces from the moon toward there mother, the water. Then with arms held high and the sign of concentration on all there faces, it began.
