People always automatically support Maiko just because that leaves Kataang open, but even if Kataang happens Maiko was still not deep enough to be worthy of a shipping debate. I agree, they were together for the benefits, nothing more. Zuko was in it, for the fact that he could claim to have a girlfriend (he IS 16 after all and had to spend so much of his time from civilization he's never had the opportunity), and Mai...well, she's always bored, what better way to cure boredom than to play with your master's brother (Azula is her master, she obeys her every beck and call)...he's cute right? But if it ever came down to it, to choose between Zuko and Azula, she'd probably choose Azula...hence their relationship was a flop for me.

Yes! The change in Mai to open up is really sweet. I like her! I don't know why people have such a hate for her >>; And if Zuko left her a note, he obviously really cares about her, though I'd like to know what the note says. I'm under the impression that, given the chance, Ty Lee and Mai will join the Avatar cause.

Sokka might just get ty lee, so zuko getting ty lee is kind o excluded, or at least that's what I whink (I'm just pointing out the posibilityes, I'm not saying that I would like it to turn out this way)

I don't like the bond between Zuko and Mai, she is too cold and besides, Zuko is on the other side now.

I don't quite see a match for Zuko, I think he has more important things to settle right now than a relationship, like finding his ouncle and training Aang.

I like them together fine...but for me they haven't really hit the target on the type of person I would like Zuko to be with, heck, I can't even think of one. Katara is fine but I think she is better with Aang, idk, I guess Mai is as close as it's gonna get.

I think that in the end, its a good pairing. It would be a sucky way to end Avatar by breaking Aangs heart by having Katara choose Zuko. If Zutara was going to happen, it should've started a long time ago. And no, 3 minutes doesn't count from 220 "Crossroads of Destiny". Zuko has Mai now and I believe that she will stay with him no matter what side he chooses.

Even though it most likly won't happen, i think sokka and mai woul be a funny mach. THey would both just be sarcastic and nothing would get done.

But seriously i think that zuko has done too many bad things to katara to ever be in a relation ship with her, so i suppoprt Maiko

I actaully really like the combo. Their personalites bounce off each other so well. And I'm with Tera253, if Kataang happens then Maiko is guaranteed.

I don't really see how Maiko would work. They are both depressing, so wouldn't each of them need someone who is different from them?

Not that I'm a Zutara fan (far from it), I just think Zuko would be better off with someone a little depressing. Honestly, though, we do know they are going to end up together.
