I like the air nomads because although they lost in the war, that was only because of some comet. Really, their the strongest nation in my opinion.

Overall I think Fire Nation has a slight upper hand over the Earth Kingdom currently.
Spiritually though, the Air Nation was strong.
Yeah, as much as I like the Water Tribes, I don't think they really compare, at least right now to the other nations. But we'll just see.

Earth Kingdom, although they were overrun by the Fire Nation, they lasted and grew for years. Azula couldn't've captured Ba Sing Se without a chance fight with the Kyoshi Warriors and Dai Li agents. The Earth Kingdom stood against the Fire Nation for a 100 years. The Air Nation was wiped out and Water Nation was scattered, especially in the South Pole.
