Originally, Toph tried to argue this, but then she realized that this could work to her advantage.
so, Toph and Suki then go into a private chamber, lock the door and Toph eats the key.
and then... when they're alone... and Toph moves in...

and then quickly metalbends her bracelet into a knife, slits Suki's throat, and then punches the door down with her fist.
therefore, with that logic, and Suki out of the way, ta-dah! Tokka.
