zutara is such nonsense .... -.- well i dont say they wouldn't be a nice shipping but WHAT ABOUT AANG  ? a nice girlfriend for him is much more important than one for zuko ad toph isn't possible i would like a tokka shipping  |

I lurve Zutara!
Why? Cause Katara is far too motherly towards Aang to harbor romantic feelings towards him! And, he's a monk, remember? Monk's generally don't get hitched! And (yes, theres more) she didn't kiss Aang back in day of the black sun...she just kinda let him

First off, Aang is a monk in the Buddhist sense. That sort doesn't require celibacy but discourages strong attachments like marriage. Think of Aang's chakra training. But I think Aang is destined to find his ultimate strength through attachments to his friends and Katara. Katara's relationship to Aang has been evolving and I think the motherly angle has pretty much disappeared by now. For me, Zutara is an extension of wish fuflfillment, good girl/angsty bad boy, and the shadow of the American Dragon show where Zuko and Kat's VAs portrayed a good boy/bad girl couple. Plus I think Zuko's on the slow side. If he somehow liked Katara, he'd probably take as long to realize it as he did about his dad being an abusive sob. Which means he might not work up the backbone to tell Katara until she's on her deathbed surrounded by her great-grandchildren. Plus, I think Mai and Zuko work well together. I think she'll end up siding with Zuko, given her apathy outside their relationship. |

lol i hate seeing ppl zutara bashers but i love them since they make complete idiots out of themselves I love watching how many 1 sentence posts idiots make sometimes. Big percentage is Zutarians and slightly lower percentage a Kataangers. I've posted reason why throughout various posts and threads in the relationships board. Someone please move this thread there |

i am so a kantanng fan(sorry if spelled wrong) but for zuko and katara no because she doesnt trust him anymore rember on book 2 last episode where they were in the cave and stuff then zukos like i have changed and was fighting them.Well yeah i would not like zuko for trying to kill me. lol

Zutara for simple reasons it better fit the way I see it who would look better shopping Aang and Katara or Zuko and Katara . That little kiss that Aang gave Katara piffffff notice he kissed her not the other way around she probably let him have it because she figured he was gonna die any way and thatshe would never see him any more but when Katara and Zuko were alone in the Catacomb under the palace Katara made motions to Zuko not the other way around ZUtara is they way

Although I see the points of the other ship I want to see zukoxkatara get together, If they do, two people who have fighting for so long now, get together, stop fighting, it would let the show end on a good note, since zuko is (hopefully) the next ruler, to take someone from a different country, I think would end the war and restore peace.
