CHAPTER 1: A BROKEN HEART
Mai looked at the letter disparingly. It really was Zuko's hand writing. She had never cried so much in her life before. She cried her arms were over her head the letter grasped in her right hand as she started crying. Why would Zuko leave me? She thought and then a knock at the door startled her but she didn't answer it. Ty Lee and Azula came through the door. "What's making you so teary eyed?" Azula asked her, with a little bit of anoynce. Mai kept crying but Zuko's letter fell from her hand. Ty Lee bent down and gently picked it up. "Oh, Mai. I'm so sorry." Ty Lee told her as she read it in her mind. "What does it say?" Azula demanded. "You read it." Ty Lee told her and went to sit down beside Mai. "Maybe he just has his reasons." Ty Lee told her in whisper so Azula couldn't hear her. Azula chuckled just like she did at Ember Island when Ty Lee had been crying for her reasons of joining the circus after Zuko had called her a circus freak. "Zuko is so misrible. 'Will father accept me?'" Azula imtimanted Zuko and laughed harder. "Besides he was never really the one for you anyway." Azula told her and then left closing the door behind her. Ty Lee whispered just a little bit louder to Mai. "Don't listen to Azula she's just....Azula." "I know." Mai sobbed harder. "But he....Zuko....he broke my heart."
CHAPTER 2: GOING TO SEE UNCLE WARDENT
Mai packed her bags a few weeks later after Zuko's letter she had found, when she had gotten another letter from her uncle, The Wardent saying that he had zuko locked up in his prison. The message told her that a boat would be waiting for her to take her to the Boiling Rock, where she would meet her uncle. Mai was worried about seeing Zuko again, and that Ty Lee had been gone for four days, which also worried her. When she went outside she saw Azula loundgeing on a chair. "Have you seen Ty Lee?" Mai asked her. "No. Why? And where are you going with your stuff?" Azula asked her. "I'm just going to visit my uncle that's all." Mai told her relucantly. "Oh?" Azula asked her. "Ty Lee isn't around here, you could look for her in the nearest circus acting show." Azula joked meaningfully. Great now I'm done for.
