Tera: well, Sanaki's ears do change colors when she blushes... various shades of red and pink... they've just been hidden behind her hair until recently.
and you probably noticed that they don't look like normal human ears... they've got that cute pointy-shape to them...
of course, Sanaki is human... that is just a trademark of her family... that's how they were discerned.
