This is a continuation of the second, my first fanfic.
I walked down the road and passed the new map shop. I walked inside and found a dozen new things I wanted.
"Hey Chang, hows it going?"
The store keep is a friend of my Fathers, so he knows me and i know him.
"I'm good, just checking out the store for something i might need."
I walked around the store and checked a few maps. I grabbed an earth benders scroll and sighed, while reading it.
"I wish i was a earth bender, then i could show those bullies at school." I spoke aloud and caught Ping, the store keeper, attention.
"Hey kiddo. I know you want to be an earth bender, but it isn't all that great. There are thousands of jobs in Ba Sing Se that doesn't require bending."
I sighed again and put the scroll away and walked to the back door that lead to my dads office. I suddenly saw a small box that i never saw before. It was beautiful, with gold and green everywhere. Then it rattled. I almost screamed, but i stayed quite. I ran outside of the shop, confusing Ping. I ran all the way home and into my room. Mom was out getting food for dinner, so i ran into the kitchen. I lived in a small cottage that rested on Ba Sing Ses wall. The kitchen was very cluttered, and it smelled like turnips, but that was OK. I sat the box on the counter and slowly opened it. Their was a blinding flash of light and suddenly a brown colored light was glowing above the box.
"I am the earth spirit, master of the earth bending and one of the four spirits of the elements."
Suddenly it staggered and flew around the kitchen. It looked at me and said,
"You are the chosen one, the boy who shall become the very spirit of earth bending."
Suddenly it flew into me and the world went black.
