Zuko's group soon reached ember island but had to fly low to avoid detection. They also put the balloon away so it appeared that they were fishing or just a lost storage unit. While the four of them drifted toward the island, azula's group gain also made her way to the island.
Katara was still very sick. Katara's vision had been getting worse since before the ship left. Katara also had been coughing up blood and throwing up. But whenever battle would start up she would feel fine.
Azula commanded the crew to go faster. While all this happened, azula's ship passed zuko's basket. Zuko, mai and ty lee all ducked to avoid being seen. Toph remained standing up. Luckly for them, all azula's crew was busy and facing the other direction.
Katara turned around coughing and while trying to stop herself thinks she sees a girl with white eyes that looked a lot like toph. But when she opened her eyes, the girl was gone. Katara stared in that direction for the whole ride over.
After zuko pulled toph down, zuko told everyone to swim underneath the water to the island. Toph protested. Zuko started to pull the ballon and put it under his shirt to save it for later.
Toph said, "Look, I can't swim, there is no way i am going in that water."
Ty lee said back, "I'd carry you but i don't think i could..."
Toph said quietly, "You trying to start something?"
Zuko said, "Hey, I'll help you, alright?"
Mai said, "I am going now."
Zuko said, "Whats her problem?"
Tylee said, "Hey, Lets go, go to my vacation." Ty lee swam away.
Toph and zuko caught up and reached shore. By chance, there happened to be a lot of people swimming around the shore that day. Zuko lead the group to the house. Zuko looked and saw that azula was checking the area out. He stood wide open and easy to see. If she turned her head to the right just a little, his group was as good as caught.
