of course, the name "Tera" I learned, is also latin...

and certain names of that calibur can fit into the avatar world with little trouble...
oh, and then there's the Avatar Guard...
Zinjamyn might not be Asian, but it's definitely one of those weird ones...
same with Alzar...
of course, those two names came from characters #97 and 26 respectively from my novel...
("Tera" is also a character--#2 to be exact)
and then Aiku, Shinon, and Zakura are Asian-based as well.

well, the Avatar Guard names I just threw together...
and I had the name "Tera" forever...
as for Sanaki, I didn't have her name, but I had the concept of a blind character who could shoot fire for a while... and that was before I knew about avatar...
incidentally, her name ended up being (and still is, 'coz I like the way it fits) Katara... *shrugs* go figure.

exactly.
but yeah, in my novel, she looked almost just like Sanaki...
she had faded eyes, black hair, and baggy red clothes...
but because of her race, she had huge ears, her eye color was faded red, and her skin was brownish-grey.
