THIS IS ONE OF KATIE'S OLD MEMORIES OF BLOOD LUST DESTRUCTION SHE DID IN HER PAST.
Smoke arose everywhere from the fires of the successful battle. Katie sniffed the air. Cuts from the battle were all over her body, blood from others all over her unsheathed paws. She had done it she thought. She and her armies in one long two day battle had destroyed Azarthanian one of the last uncivilized civilizations. Her mother's trusted friend, and adviser, Raven was once queen to Azarthanian. Which made Katie even more prouder of her achievement. One of her gargoyle goons came up to her. This one had no name and was quite ugly. He couldn't talk either. Katie growled at him. "What do you want? Can't you see I'm happy right now?" The gargoyle goon made weird sounds. "Cawwwkkkk....." "Hmm...So you're one who can't talk. Pity." Katie gave the creature a disapproving look. "So. What is it that you've brought me?" The goon hobbled backward while other goons pushed forward so prisoners. Steal and Fang two of Katie's most trusted servants lead the prisoners forward. "C'mon all ready!" Fang called and pushed forward a young lion cub, that was very unusually dark. He had extraordinary blue eyes, that reminded Katie of the ocean her favorite place in the world, but only Nerissa knew that. Nerissa was also the only one who knew Katie had only a soft spot for cubs, and would never intionally kill one purposely. The cub was very frightened and it made Katie wonder. "Steal!" She called angrily. The canine, tail in between his legs in fright came up to his master. "Yes." He whimpered. "Fetch me, Krimble my skeleton bird. I need his assistance." While Steal went back to their camp that they had made before the battle, to go and look for Krimble one of Katie's henchmen. Katie looked at the young cub, she tried to sound soothingly, out of her normal growl like voice. "What's your name?" The cub whimpered fearfully. "Kron." "Hmmm. Fang take the other prisoners to the camp where Steal went. This cub stays with me for now. But with the other prisoners, you know what to do." Smiling evilly Fang nodded. "Get a move on! You worthless dug-beats!" The prisoners looked on sadly most of them bleeding, and their hands were in chains. Katie nudged the frightened cub forward. "Do you have a family?" Katie asked. "I did have one. I never knew my mommy though. She died a few days after my birth. My dad died in this battle. So did my older sisters, and twin brother. Do you know who caused the battle?" His pleading blue eyes looked up at Katie. For once in Katie's life she felt guilty with pain. "I had a family once too." Katie told the young cub, not answering his question. "What happened to your family?" Katie knew the truth of what really happened to her, but her heart was so black that it kept telling her that her family hated her. "I...left." She stammered. "What happened to your eye, then?" The young cub asked her, now noticing the black human eye-patch that was on Katie's eye. "Accident, long story type thing." "I'm really tired." The young cub told her and collapsed to the ground. Katie went to the exhausted cub, and gently tilted his chin with her tried up bloody unsheathed paws. She growled but carried the cub anyway through her teeth. The young cub blinked open his eyes smiling at Katie. It made the ambitious leader feel awkward. "Where are we going?" "To my home for now, my home near the camp." "Thank you." He muttered. Katie winced. Sure she liked cubs but not cute and cuddly ones, but she liked Kron. He made her feel happy, like she did sometimes as a cub. She carried the cub to her cave home near where the camp was settled, waiting for them was Krimble the skeleton bird. He cawed angrily. "I'm a dead bird! Awk! A dead bird Awk!" The annoying bird was clever but also so gullible. Katie growled angrily and set down the tired cub, who fell asleep quickly not noticing the bird. "Krimble you idiot! I've brought you from the dead! You are no longer dead why do I have to explain this over, and over again!" The bird just repeated what he did earlier. "Dead bird! Awk!" Swiping her unsheathed paw at the bird his bones flew everywhere. "I might put you back together if you obey me." The bird's head was on the ground looking around, so he nodded. "I want death to obey my thrall! Tell me what I must do to make it so!" She growled her teeth now showed in a snarl. The bird squawked. "You must kill something. Something that's loyal to you, by choice." "That's easy." TO BE CONTIUED....
