CONTINUING FROM BEFORE...
Ty Lee sighed and followed Jenna. Ty Lee's stomach growled. "Hey can we get some food? I haven't eaten in a while. "Sure. I'm tired though." Jenna led Ty Lee to a pile of dead animals that were in a lower part of the food chain than the lions were. Jenna picked up a squirrel in her mouth. "That's the food?" Ty Lee asked, she felt a little ill staring at the pile. Jenna placed down her squirrel. "Yup. Pretty much." "I'll just try and find something else." "I'll help you, but the only things I know of are grass, leaves, twigs, and berries. Not much of anything else besides prey." Jenna told her as they left the camp together, Jenna of course was carrying the squirrel still. They stopped in a small grass field that had plenty of grass, bushes filled with berries, and lots of leaves and lots of twigs on spilled all over the ground. "There're cranberries on the bushes. I think they're ripe. Try 'em." Jenna replied as she lay in the grass munching on her squirrel. Ty Lee did, but for some reason they tasted awful, she sniffed the leaves and felt her appetite lose some interest. "Any luck?" Jenna asked. Ty Lee shook her head. Darkness was starting to appear from the night sky a crescent moon showed up above as the only light. But Ty Lee felt for some reason that she didn't need the light to help her see through the dark anymore, either. (Feline instinct) Then a new voice spoke up and Jenna and Ty Lee turned their heads. It was Falleye. "Maybe you should try something else." Falleye told Ty Lee. Ty Lee stood in front of her while Jenna approached also. Falleye shoved from behind her a dead mouse. "It's good and freshly caught. Try it." Ty Lee felt even more ill and placed her paw over her mouth. Ty Lee then bent down and nibbled on it. It actually tasted great! "Well...?" Falleye asked. "It's pretty good right?" Jenna asked her. Ty Lee smiled licking her lips. "You know, I think you're not liking berries because you're a lioness right now. When you change back I think you won't like raw meat, and you'll like berries again. I know these things from experience with other shape-shifters." Falleye told her. Ty Lee just nodded solemnly. "Now we're just wasting time. We need to get back to camp and get some rest. Ty Lee, you and I are going to explore the territory tomorrow. I'll tell you that's a work out. So off to sleep land we come." Falleye told both, Ty Lee and Jenna on the way back to camp. Jenna yawned, "You're right Falleye. I'm going to claw the sack when we reach the cave." "Claw the sack?" Ty Lee asked in confusion. "What I mean is that I'm tired." Jenna yawned again. Then they reached the cave. Before stepping inside Ty Lee told Falleye. "Falleye, thanks." Falleye smiled a little and then shrugged. Ty Lee saw all the lionesses asleep inside and noticed that they were all in some sort of nest, made out of either, old dried grass, leaves, twigs, or just newly plucked grass. Jenna yawned to her in a whisper, "You can sleep in a nest next to me, there's always one that's empty near me because King Khans made this new rule about having two lioness guarding the camp during the night. We switch off from every other week." Sure enough Jenna was right. Next to Jenna's nest that was made up of leaves there was an empty nest made out of dried grass. Ty Lee curled up in it and yawned also. "Goodnight Ty Lee." Jenna told her and then fell fast asleep. "Night, Jenna." Ty Lee then yawned again but she also felt homesick. She stared out one of the back entrances in the cave and thought about her home and friends back in her old home. She missed surprisingly her cruel friend, Azula and missed Mai. A little voice inside her was telling her softly and convincingly, Home.... home..... home.....!
Then Ty Lee whispered to herself softly as a tear drop fell on her cheek. "Home."
